A Greek man is charging 50 million kronor (£4.5m; $6.9m) to a dairy in Sweden for using his picture on containers of Turkish-style yoghurt. The man only discovered his face being featured on pots of Turkish Yoghurt made by Lindahls after Athanasios Varzanakos, his friend who lives in Stockholm, told him about it. He said that his friend was annoyed and asked how it was possible. The dairy claims that it bought the picture in good faith from an image library. Chief executive Ander Lindahl was surprised when the Greek man appealed a 40-page legal complaint declaring that the company had used a misleading image because he had no association with Turkey. Lindahl told the AFP news agency that the company bought the image from a photo agency and they assumed that everything was in order. Despite of the legal action, the image still remains on the Lindahl website. There has been tension between the relationship of Turkey and Greece, and there were some cases which didn’t turn out well. Greek Sues a Turkish Yoghurt in Sweden is a post from: Daily World Buzz
