Via Independent UK reports: “To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best (sic),” he wrote. Apparently fans of the couple weren’t the only ones surprised to see Calvin’s post, as Rita reportedly wasn’t aware they had officially split. “It was Calvin’s decision to end the relationship. They had been arguing for months and had grown apart,” a source told British newspaper The Sun. “Rita was left embarrassed when he tweeted that it was all over. “She didn’t think he was going to make the announcement, so she was shocked.” Rita, 23, has been linked to both Justin Bieber and his friend, American singer Khalil, recently. Her supposed flirtatious behaviour is thought to have influenced Calvin, 30, when it came to ending things. “She was constantly posting snaps of her with other groups of friends and her trip to Mexico and photos of her with Khalil were the final straw,” the insider divulged. “Calvin likes more privacy than Rita and he hated the extra attention that came with being her boyfriend.” Rita was previously dating Kim Kardashian’s younger brother Rob, but things ended acrimoniously in 2012 when the sock designer accused her of seeing other men on Twitter.
