La Jolla Half Marathon 2010

The 13.1-mile race started at the Del Mar Fairgrounds about 7:30 a.m. and ended at La Jolla Cove. According to the website for the marathon 5,839 people finished the race, of which 2,689 were men and 3,150 were women. Two runners suffered heart attacks and at least five others required medical treatment during the La Jolla Half Marathon Sunday.
