The defense for the mixed martial arts fighter, whose name was legally changed from Jonathan Koppenhaver to War Machine, argued Monday that victim Christine Mackinday’s work in adult films suggests she enjoys rough sex and disqualifies her from accusing him of rape, according to the Las VegasReview Journal. Mackinday’s career led to her “desire, the preference, the acceptability towards a particular form of sex activities that were out of the norm,” said Brandon Sua, Koppenhaver’s defense attorney.
