“War Machine” Argues That He Didn’t Rape Christy Mack Because She’s A Porn Star We’ve come across some pretty pathetic excuses for men in our day, but this “War Machine” guy just might be the douchebag cherry on top… Via NYDailyNews A misogynistic MMA fighter claimed in a bizarre defense that his porn star ex-girlfriend can’t accuse him of rape – because of her job as an adult film actress. The defense for the mixed martial arts fighter, whose name was legally changed from Jonathan Koppenhaver to War Machine, argued Monday that victim Christine Mackinday’s work in adult films suggests she enjoys rough sex and disqualifies her from accusing him of rape, according to the Las VegasReview Journal. Mackinday’s career led to her “desire, the preference, the acceptability towards a particular form of sex activities that were out of the norm,” said Brandon Sua, Koppenhaver’s defense attorney. MMA Fighter “War Machine” On Lockdown For Domestic Abuse Attempts Suicide In Jail

War Machine Attempts Suicide In Jail Cell The MMA Fighter who burst into his ex-girlfriend’s home and beat her within an inch of her life is having a hard time in jail, apparently. He made a near-successful suicide attempt on Tuesday evening before guards found and resuscitated him. Via ESPN : Former MMA fighter War Machine is in medical isolation in a Las Vegas jail after a suicide attempt earlier this week, police confirmed Thursday, according to multiple reports. A Clark County Detention Center guard found War Machine, formerly known as Jonathan Koppenhaver, on Tuesday night after he tried to hang himself, according to authorities. Police said Koppenhaver was unresponsive when found. Koppenhaver’s attorney, Brandon Sua, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the fighter’s vital signs had “completely stopped” and that he was “pretty much dead” when found. Sua also said officials found “multiple” suicide notes in Koppenhaver’s cell. Koppenhaver, 32, is being held without bond on charges of attempted murder, domestic battery by strangulation, first-degree kidnapping and sexual assault, stemming from an alleged incident involving his ex-girlfriend and adult film actress Christy Mack on Aug. 8 at her Las Vegas residence. The professional mixed martial artist faces the possibility of life in prison. A preliminary hearing had been scheduled for Friday, but the Review-Journal reported that lawyers told a judge Wednesday that they wanted to try negotiate with prosecutors. Koppenhaver was extradited to Las Vegas from Ventura County, California, on Aug. 30, after he was arrested in a Los Angeles suburb. Sua told the Review-Journal that his client’s depression and anxiety had “increased since his August arrest.” SMH.

Jon Koppenhaver, an MMA fighter who goes by War Machine, is wanted by Las Vegas officials for the alleged beating he gave his girlfriend Christy Mack. If the cops can’t catch the fugitive, we know one man who is all over it. Duane Chapman, a.k.a. Dog The Bounty Hunter, is coming after Koppenhaver, the target of SEVEN arrest warrants after beating Christy Mack beyond belief: “@WarMachine170 better 2 Give All You Excuses To The Judge,” he wrote yesterday. “You got 24 hrs to turn your self in or I am Coming After YOU! #CMTDogAndBeth” Those 24 hours came and went. War Marchine is still on the loose. “@WarMachine170 your now In my World,” Chapman added. “Your [sic] a FUGITIVE & I Am a BOUNTY HUNTER !! YOU NEED TO FEEL SHAME !!” “Be a MAN SURRENDER TO AUTHORITIES” Don’t hold your breath for that scenario … and perhaps it’s for the best. Like everyone else, we want him brought to justice by any means necessary. If he did turn himself in, that would obviously be preferable … but the idea of War Machine getting what’s coming to him from Dog does sound entertaining. Should the coward insist on trying to evade justice for his alleged crimes, it would make for one heck of an episode of Dog and Beth: On the Hunt . Just saying.
