Lil Wayne Reveals Suicide Attempt At Age 12 Hip-hop fans have long known the story of Lil Wayne ‘s tragic gun accident at age 12. As the rapper has always said, he was fooling around with his mother’s gun when it went off, shooting him in the chest and narrowly missing his heart. His life was saved by an officer passing by , whom he shows gratitude to this day. Now, with the release of the Carter V (finally) on the horizon, the rapper is now coming clean about the details of that story. Apparently, the “accident” was actually an attempt at taking his own life. As Billboard revealed in their latest cover story on the rapper, they were able to hear an advanced preview of the album and the outro features Wayne speaking explicitly about the accident actually having been an attempt on his own life. Wayne says that his mother told him he would no longer be permitted to rap, and he was apparently so distraught over this new rule that he saw no further reason to live. In addition, they reveal that Wayne had always planned to include the track on his severely pushed-back project, but added new verses after the suicides of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain earlier this year.   White House Locked Down After Suicide Attempt U.S. Secret Service and FBI responded to an incident that occurred outside the White House where an unidentified man allegedly shot himself along the north fence.The death is being treated as a suicide attempt. The White House has been placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure. The Secret Service’s Twitter responded after the incident: BREAKING: Secret Service personnel are responding to reports of a person who allegedly suffered a self-inflicted gun shot wound along the north fence line of @WhiteHouse . — U.S. Secret Service (@SecretService) March 3, 2018 UPDATE: Medical Personnel are responding to the male victim. — U.S. Secret Service (@SecretService) March 3, 2018 Final Update: Secret Service can confirm that no member of the First Family was at the @WhiteHouse during today's incident outside the fence line. — U.S. Secret Service (@SecretService) March 3, 2018 It was reported that the man was found unconscious when authorities and medics arrived, and said they’ve been told that he’s been declared dead. Donald Trump isn’t currently in Washington, but per usual in Florida at his Mar-A-Lago resort with the First Lady.

Lamar Odom: My Overdose Was a Suicide Attempt!

Doesn't your heart just break into a million tiny pieces whenever you see Lamar Odom? Don't you just want to scoop him up — or scoop him up as much as you can scoop a man who is just under seven feet tall — and give him a great big hug? He's messed up in his life, sure, and he's done things that greatly hurt other people. But addiction is a hell of a disease, and these days, he's trying his hardest to better himself. He recently spent 35 days in rehab , not because of a relapse, but to continue working on his issues.  And now he's gone and done another in depth interview for The Doctors, and if you thought he was heartbreaking before, well, just hold onto yourself. In this new teaser for the interview, which airs on Tuesday, Lamar touches on the overdose he had in October 2015 that nearly killed him : specifically on the choices he made leading up to it. “Do I feel ashamed about some of the choices I made?” he asks himself. “They were despicable.” And then, for the kicker, Lamar reveals “I was basically just committing suicide.” We hope that Lamar really is feeling better these days, and he's able to make peace with everything. Terrence Howard Testifies That Ex-Wife Was Jealous Of Jennifer Hudson Terrence Howard’s divorce case gets crazier and crazier by the day. He already shed tears on the stand earlier today, and now he’s detailing his wife’s violent outburst over scripted make-out scenes with Jennifer Hudson, and their marital issues over his refusal to get gutter in the bedroom. Via TMZ : Terrence Howard testified his relationship with the ex-wife he’s now suing was so bad, she kicked food all over him in a jealous rage over a make-out scene with Jennifer Hudson. Howard — who’s trying to dismantle their settlement agreement because he claims Michelle Ghent extorted him — testified Friday they were in South Africa when he was filming “Winnie Mandela” and they got into a huge fight because she became jealous the script called for him to make out with Jennifer Hudson. He says Michelle flew into a rage, hurling food all over him. He also testified they were no longer sexually compatible once he tried becoming a Jehovah’s Witness and used “applied Bible principles” to his sex life. He explained he was trying to rein in his urges. As he put it, he was trying to go from “apple pie a la mode” to just plain “apple pie,” and she wasn’t biting. Howard also said things got so bad he faked a suicide attempt by telling her he swallowed a bottle of pills. He says he did not actually do it. Is it just us, or is this a little bit TMI?!? But when your entire check is on the line, we guess you pull out ALL the dirty laundry…

MMA Fighter “War Machine” On Lockdown For Domestic Abuse Attempts Suicide In Jail

War Machine Attempts Suicide In Jail Cell The MMA Fighter who burst into his ex-girlfriend’s home and beat her within an inch of her life is having a hard time in jail, apparently. He made a near-successful suicide attempt on Tuesday evening before guards found and resuscitated him. Via ESPN : Former MMA fighter War Machine is in medical isolation in a Las Vegas jail after a suicide attempt earlier this week, police confirmed Thursday, according to multiple reports. A Clark County Detention Center guard found War Machine, formerly known as Jonathan Koppenhaver, on Tuesday night after he tried to hang himself, according to authorities. Police said Koppenhaver was unresponsive when found. Koppenhaver’s attorney, Brandon Sua, told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the fighter’s vital signs had “completely stopped” and that he was “pretty much dead” when found. Sua also said officials found “multiple” suicide notes in Koppenhaver’s cell. Koppenhaver, 32, is being held without bond on charges of attempted murder, domestic battery by strangulation, first-degree kidnapping and sexual assault, stemming from an alleged incident involving his ex-girlfriend and adult film actress Christy Mack on Aug. 8 at her Las Vegas residence. The professional mixed martial artist faces the possibility of life in prison. A preliminary hearing had been scheduled for Friday, but the Review-Journal reported that lawyers told a judge Wednesday that they wanted to try negotiate with prosecutors. Koppenhaver was extradited to Las Vegas from Ventura County, California, on Aug. 30, after he was arrested in a Los Angeles suburb. Sua told the Review-Journal that his client’s depression and anxiety had “increased since his August arrest.” SMH.

For reasons not entirely clear, Miley Cyrus dissed Selena Gomez in concert this week, violently tossing around a cardboard cutout of her fellow singer. But the latest issue of In In Touch Weekly states plainly: the artist has something more pressing to worry about than a petty Miley Cyrus slight… She’s battling a DEADLY DISEASE! The tabloid quotes multiple doctors for its misleading article ( none of whom have ever met Gomez ), and they all agree that “too much work, stress or partying could have serious consequences” for the star.  They cite her diagnosis of Lupus and say Selena is on the verge of “life and death,” depending on her life choices. The tabloid goes on to say that Gomez “wasn’t taking care of herself at all” throughout her roller coasting relationship with Justin Bieber and that her family “staged an intervention” as a result. However, this act “only pushed her deeper into the abyss during her medical crisis,” according to a totally real insider. Fortunately, Gomez made the “life-changing decision to clean up her act” in recent weeks, the magazine writes, explaining that she “has recommitted herself to her physical and emotional health.” This has been made clear by a number of happy Instagram photos (below)… but it doesn’t mean Selena is out of the dangerous woods just yet.  “[Her] loved ones still fear her cycle of bad decisions could start over again at any time,” the tabloid warns. Farrah Abraham is weighing in on the greatness that is True Tori, urging Tori Spelling to give Dean McDermott the boot immediately if not sooner. The Teen Mom turned Backdoor Teen Mom star may be only 23, but that isn’t stopping her from adding her two cents about others’ relationships. She is authoring a Christian parenting book , after all. “It’s best to move on, Tori!” Farrah tells Life & Style magazine. “I would not tolerate someone cheating on me. She needs to look after their children!” Of course, Tori says that a big reason she tried to make things work with Dean is because of their four kids and not wanting to break up their family. On the flip side, Tori subjected the kids to a show in which McDermott fakes a suicide attempt and she talks about sexually experimenting to satisfy Dean . Clearly, it’s not easy to get a read on what’s real and what isn’t here, or to cast judgment if you’re Farrah Abraham, but why let that stop her? Reaction to Farrah Abraham ‘s advice was mixed. “Farrah needs to stop worrying about other peoples lives,” wrote one commenter. “Omg girl your life is a mess and you think your opinion matters?!! Wow.” Then again, others agreed, with one adding, “Honestly if they cheat they already walked away from you and your relationship. I say kick him to the curb!!” Conversely, another said, “It’s not an easy road but life never is! Conrad Murray Leaves Paris Jackson Bizarre Pay Phone "Letter"

Dr. Conrad Murray, the man serving a prison sentence for his role in Michael Jackson’s death, has left a bizarre message for Paris Jackson. In the wake of Paris’ suicide attempt yesterday, Murray apparently found a pay phone and left what he describes as a “letter” for the troubled 15-year old. “I don’t know if there’s anything to do to solve your pain,” he says in the message, quoting multiple verses from old MJ songs and adding: “I’m here for you.” The disgraced physician adds Paris consoled him “in [her] deepest moments of grief.” Listen to the voicemail in full here: Conrad Murray Letter to Paris Jackson Paris Jackson is resting in the hospital at the moment. Paris Jackson: Suicide Note Found, Meat Cleaver Used in Attempt

A couple grisly details have come out regarding Paris Jackson’s suicide attempt this morning. As previously reported, the 15-year old daughter of Michael was rushed to the hospital around 2 a.m. following a 911 call that TMZ confirms was made as a result of Paris dialing the suicide hotline. The operator was reportedly so shaken by the conversation that she called the authorities. When they arrived, EMTs found a suicide note at the scene and also saw that Paris used a meat cleaver on her arm. She had also taken a significant number of Motrin pills. Paris received “numerous stitches” for the wound and was then placed under a 5150 psychiatric hold for 72 hours. In a statement, Jackie, Marlon and Tito Jackson have said: “Thank you for the outpouring of concern and support for Paris. She is safe and doing fine. We truly appreciate you respecting our family privacy at this time.”
