Source: NurPhoto / Getty Man Strangles Sister During Fight Over Wifi Password According to Fox 8 , a Georgia teen was just sentenced to life in prison after being was found guilty in the strangling death of his sister during a fight over a wifi password. Kevon Watkins, 18, was allegedly arguing with his mom about the internet at their home. Watkins, who was then 16, reportedly changed the password so he could play video games without others using the internet . Watkins and his sister, Alexus Breanna Watkins (22) began to fight and their mother called for help when she couldn’t separate them. Watkins placed a chokehold on her for about 15 minutes. He didn’t remove the hold until police commanded him to and it was then that authorities noticed her body was lifeless. She was pronounced dead at the local hospital. Watkins waived his right to a jury trial and chose to have a Bibb County judge hear testimony. He was found guilty of felony murder. After 21-year-old Patrick Crusius of Allen, Texas killed 20 people and injured 26 at a Walmart in El Paso , a gunman opened fire in Dayton, Ohio. NBC News reports that 9 people are dead and 26 injured after a gunman wearing body armor and armed with a rifle and high-capacity magazines opened fire on a line of people waiting to get inside Ned Peppers Bar in Dayton’s Oregon District. Police responded to the scene quickly, in less than one minute, and killed the gunman whose been described as a “heavyset” white man. Dayton mayor Nan Whaley noted police’s quick response but wondered why the mass shooting happened. “If Dayton police had not gotten to the shooter in under a minute – and think about that, nine killed and 26 injured in under a minute – hundred of people in the Oregon District would have been killed,” Whaley said during a press conference. “Clearly, the question has to be, why does Dayton have to be the 250th shooting in America?” Whaley said. “Two hundred and fifty this year. El Paso was 249, Dayton was 250.” This is all so, so crazy and of course, deranged Dorito is offering nothing but “thoughts and prayers” for the people of Texas and the people of Ohio. Former Officer Sentenced For Corey Jones Shooting A former Florida police officer will spend 25 years behind bars for the fatal shooting of a black man. WSVN reports that Officer Nouman Raja was sentenced by Circuit Judge Joseph Marx Thursday while family and friends of Corey Jones, looked on. Raja, 41, was convicted last month of manslaughter and attempted murder in Jones’ 2015 death. What should’ve been a routine traffic stop escalated into a deadly shooting when he encountered Jones whose SUV had stalled on a dark highway ramp. Jones questioned who Officer Raja was when he approached him because he was wearing street clothes and driving an unmarked police car. Jones reportedly thought he was being robbed and tried to run away. Officer Raja fired six shots, three of which hit Jones, the fatal one in the heart. A Bronx woman passed away this week after complications from a wound caused by her boyfriend in previous days turned fatal. According to the NY Daily News , Dayanara Carela, 44, had her foot hacked with a sword by a deranged boyfriend. Police arrive her apartment in the Bronx atabout 9 p.m. on November 3 on a report that she had been assaulted. Her live-in boyfriend, Gilbert Nunez, had attacked with the sword in a jealous rage. Medics took from her to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition with severe gash to her left foot. She was treated there for an unknown period of time and released. Nunez, 43, was arrested Nov. 5 on felony assault charges for the alleged attack. Carela refused to cooperate with prosecutors and so he was released on his own recognizance on November 9th, and resumed her relationship with Nunez. On Nov. 18, Nunez called 911 to report that Carela was in medical distress. Medics took her to Montefiore Medical Center where she died the same day. Her death was later deemed a homicide related to the original wound. The city Medical Examiner concluded she died from blood clots that formed as a result of the attack — technically, “a bilateral pulmonary embolism due to deep vein thrombosis due to lower extremity complicating chop wound of left foot.” Nunez could face upgraded charges in the wake of Carela’s death. He is due back in court Dec. 17. SMH, so sad!!

As previously reported their niece Alaina Housley was the youngest victim of the mass shooting and her family was devastated to get the news. Now Tamera, Adam and Alaina’s father Eric Housley are speaking with CBS about the tragedy and pledging to use her death to spark a change. Tamera: “Yes, there needs to be a change. But all the noise—nothing’s been done.” Adam: “If I was to walk out of here and the first thing I was to say was, you know, ‘Gun control,’ guess what? Half the country (snaps fingers), [conversation] ends.” Tamera: “And we don’t want the conversation to end.” Adam: “It can’t this time.” They also revealed that they’ve been brutally bullied on social media over Alaina’s death… Adam: “You should see of the tweets we got after Alaina died. I got one that said, ‘You deserve it, you worked at Fox News.’ It got liked by about 78 people.” but they’re moving forward ahead of her funeral. Tamera: “She wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else.” Tamera’s since shared one of the many harsh tweets she’s received and she’s imploring people to stop. “If you have love in your heart. You don’t talk this way. You obviously missed the message. And don’t you ever judge the death of my niece.” People are sick. Prince Williams/ATLPics.net Sutton Tennyson Shooting Update Police are releasing more details on the shocking murder of Angela Simmons’ ex-fiance. According to The AJC , authorities Sutton Tennyson was gunned down Saturday night in his Southwest Atlanta home. They add that Tennyson’s body was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside his garage. Police add that a preliminary investigation suggests that Tennyson was talking in the driveway with another man when “the conversation escalated” and the man shot him multiple times. The alleged shooter left the scene in a car and so far no arrest has been made. Angela revealed that today, November 5, would’ve been Tennyson’s birthday. She also shared a video of her son Sutton Tennyson, Jr. watching a video of his late father. Her siblings JoJo Simmons and Vanessa Simmons also extended their condolences over his passing. “I can’t sit here and lie and say we were close like brothers,” wrote JoJo. “What I will say is every time I encountered you we had good conversations and I never personally had an issue with you.
