Paul Redmond/WireImage Dennis Edwards Dies The former lead singer of legendary Motown group The Temptations has died. Dennis Edwards, 74, passed away Thursday. The news was confirmed by his family in Chicago reported his passing to CBS Chicago. Edwards who replaced David Ruffin in 1968, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. Two Men Are On The Run After Shooting At Paris Restaurant Leaves One Injured The DailyMail is reporting that there has been a shooting at a Paris restaurant… Gunmen have injured at least one person after opening fire near a restaurant in Paris. One of the gunmen, whose motives are as yet unknown, has been arrested and two others are said to be on the run. Gunfire was exchanged outside the Chez Papa restaurant on Boulevard de la Bastille in the heart of the city, local media reported. The shooting comes around four months after an ISIS terror cell killed 130 in a series of attacks across the city. A four strong group of extremists targeted three restaurants in the popular Bastille area on the night of November 13. Who said 65-years-old is too old to get it on? Not Billy Joel. The Grammy-winning artist and his long time girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting a child. He fathered 29-year-old Alexa Ray Joel with ex-wife Christie Brinkley. However, this is Joel and Roderick’s first child together. Joel and Roderick, 33, began dating in 2009 after Joel split from his third wife, Katie Lee. Unlike many celebrities, the couples’ relationship has humble origins. Roderick, a risk assessment officer for Morgan Stanley, told the New York Daily News in 2010 that she met Joel at a restaurant. She added, they “were friends for a while before we started dating.” Mum is the word on the baby’s sex. The proud parents-to-be won’t even disclose if they know. In fact, we’ll have to wait for any more baby news because Joel and Roderick have decided “to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut.” All we know is that we can expect to meet the newest addition to the family this summer. Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil was arrested early Monday in Las Vegas on a DUI charge. The rocker is still at the Clark County jail pending a court appearance. There are no further details at present, but if Neil was indeed driving while inebriated , it would appear that he’s learned little from a checkered personal history. In 1984, Neil was driving drunk when he had an accident that killed his passenger, Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley, spending 30 days in jail. The timing of the incident is also unfortunate for the 49-year-old, given that both his new CD, and his forthcoming memoir, are titled Tattoos and Tequila . Yes, Vince Neil has a memoir. Leave it to Killers singer Brandon Flowers to find a way to pay homage to his sucker’s-paradise hometown in the announcement of his debut solo album. After a week of Web teases, Flowers announced that he’d be stepping out on the band with a disc called Flamingo, which the band’s official Web site says is “coming soon.” The announcement, in the form of a broken-down neon sign that has the singer’s name and a playing-card club lit up in red, is accompanied by a spare electronic track made up of pinging synth notes and some wordless falsetto vocals. The singer has also set up a parallel site that contains the same synth loop and glowing sign and that will presumably be a source of information about the disc. The Killers teased the news of the Flowers album on Twitter earlier this week, telling their followers to check their official site for “big updates.” While on tour in Australia earlier this year, the band canceled a number of dates following the death of Flowers’ mother and said they would be taking an indefinite break from touring. A spokesperson for the group could not be reached for further details about the album’s release. It appears Flowers isn’t the only Killer taking a break, as drummer Ronnie Vannucci has signed up to perform in a supergroup called Mt.
