Source: Randy Holmes / Getty Kanye Donates $150K To Family Of Slain Security Guard According to TMZ , Kanye West seems to have been touched by the tragic story of Jemel Roberson , the Chicago security guard that was wrongfully slain by police. The rapper decided to donate $150,000 to the family who had a Gofundme account set up with a goal of only $10,000. Roberson was reportedly working security at Manny’s Blue Room Bar Sunday around 4:00 AM when several drunk customers were ordered out. One of the customers returned to the bar with a gun and opened fire. Roberson allegedly returned fire, then detained the gunman and held him at gunpoint until police arrived. When the police officer got to the scene, he then shot Roberson and killed him. Roberson was reportedly working extra shifts to save up a little extra money to spend on his young son for the holidays.

During her announcement, she said, “This is not a speech of concession.” She shared that she plans to file a federal lawsuit to challenge the “gross mismanagement” of elections in the state of Georgia. “I will not concede because the erosion of our democracy is not right.”

The call features a voice impersonating Oprah Winfrey , who appeared on the campaign trail Thursday (Nov. 1) in support of Abrams. In about a 60-second pre-recorded message, racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric is used to mock the media titan and attack Abrams. The message was created by a white supremacist group called The Road to Power, CNN reported. The group is known for anti-Semitic video podcasts. It previously attacked Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum after he won the nomination in the August primary and again in October. According to the report, it is unknown how many voters received this call. As previously reported while details haven’t been released about what type of cancer he’s battling, NeNe previously told Bossip on WE tv that Gregg underwent surgery to remove cancer and is sticking to a vegan diet. Now Bravo’s released a clip from the upcoming episode, and in it, Gregg’s detailing going under the knife. According to Gregg, the surgery was so dire that he had to have surgery the EXACT DAY he was diagnosed… “I guess the scariest part about all of this is when we got to the hospital and the doctor saying that we need to do surgery on you tonight or you ain’t going to make it,” Gregg says. “And so I went over and prayed to God and I told Him, ‘If it’s time, let’s go. I don’t fear death, I don’t want to go. If my work here is finished here, take care of them, let’s go.’ and he penned a heartfelt letter to NeNe in case he didn’t make it out alive. “I wrote a note to my doctor and I told him to give it to you if I didn’t come out…Writing that note was the hardest thing I ever did in my life.” You never know what’s in you until you at that door,” Gregg reveals in the episode. “I never thought I had it in me to fight cancer. Now, I want to beat cancer’s a**.” WOW! Can you imagine writing a goodbye note to your loved ones?! The rapper tweeted, “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. The new $126,460 donation to the progressive Chicago mayoral candidate was disclosed on Wednesday, per a report from NBC Chicago . Previously, West gave the campaign fund $73,540, making this recent amount almost double. After the Illinois State Board of Elections fined Enyia for “failing to properly file quarterly finance reports in connection with her 2015 campaign for mayor,” Kanye stepped in to offer a helping hand. Enyia never closed her campaign account following her withdrawal from the 2015 mayoral race, prompting the fines but now, which is what Yeezy’s $73K contribution covered. There’s no word yet on what this new donation from Kanye covers, but what it does show is that he’s still invested in politics at least for Chicago’s sake. Chance the Rapper was the first rapper to endorse Enyia, with his friend and collaborator Kanye following closely behind and attending an event with both Amara and Chance. “Narcissistically, if I back you, you have a chance,” Chance said last month during a press conference that simultaneously served as his announcement of the Enyia endorsement and his denouncement of rumors suggesting he was planning to run himself.

Gillum had reportedly issued a cease-and-desist letter to TV stations to stop airing messages from Rob DeSantis , his Republican opponent for the state’s governor race, after suspending his campaign amid Hurricane Michael . However, he found himself on the receiving end of ads that criticized him for his handling of 2016’s Hurricane Hermine, which caused power outages in Tallahassee. The state’s GOP party had begun running the ads as Michael hit the ground, with DeSantis’ campaign being primarily responsible for the ads, Think Progress reported. There have also been ads supporting DeSantis that continued to play on Wednesday, reaching residents within the hurricane’s ground zero. Gillum has called out the decision to air the ads at such a sensitive time and in the middle of a potentially life-threatening storm. “We can’t recall a time where candidates for statewide office have not pulled down negative ads during hurricane season,” the gubernatorial candidate said to MSNBC. “You’ve got a whole region of our state, where folks are fleeing for their lives, anticipating what is a life-threatening event impacting this state. I again would encourage my opponent to just subside with the politics.” Florida’s Republican Party decided to walk back the ads, they said on Wednesday, according to Politico . The decision, however, came after former Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) administrator and Florida Emergency Management Director Craig Fugate asked the state’s candidates to stop running negative ads. Many in the nation have agreed that the focus should be on residents during Hurricane Michael, not on campaign ads. Keeping Up with the Kardashians took Kim and Kourtney to Japan on Sunday night. And the sisters brought with them many suitcases, changes of outfits… and lots of hard feelings. The installment centered on Kim planning a trip to Tokyo to shoot a Yeezy campaign on behalf of her husband’s fashion brand. “I love working with Kanye in that way because he will listen to me on things that are important to me, and I’ll trust him on colors and fabrics,” she said of the endeavor, adding: “I only have a few days to get 20 looks shot. “Japan is the campaign – we can’t recreate it. There are dozens of people working on this, so it is a lot of pressure. “It’s my husband’s collection and I want to make sure that I do a good job and that he likes how everything turns out.” This was the epitome of a First World Problem , but whatever, right? It was a fair concern for Kim at the time, given the circumstances. However, Kim decided to mix the personal with the professional by inviting Khloe and Kourtney along for the vacation. Why would she do so, considering the tension that has existed between all three siblings throughout Season 15? Probably because the script called for it, but maybe also to bury the hatchet. All it took was one evening out, though, for the tension to return — which is what happens when one sister simply can’t handle what her loved one is wearing. “I can’t even eat dinner because I’m so disgusted with my sisters’ crazy outfits that completely don’t go with my look,” Kim told the camera. “Like, I can’t take it.” No, really, she could. Not. Even. Take. It. “My sisters look so crazy,” Kim continued. “It’s actually embarrassing. I’m not telling you guys who to be and what to wear or anything, but I’m telling you who to be and what to wear. “It could be time for a fashion overhaul, so that you stay young and relevant.” At another point, she told Kourtney she looked “like a f-cking grandma, 100 percent.” After being informed that she doesn’t come across as “special” or “innovative,” Kourtney at last snapped and replied in a confessional: “Now I think Kim’s just being rude, and rude to everyone in glam. “We’re all doing fun looks together and it’s not that serious. I think Kim and I don’t always see eye-to-eye as far of the importance of traveling and living in the moment. … “I have three children and a full-time job.
