While avoiding questions about his album, though, Kanye has still been making his rounds with his gospel unit and performing his weekly “Sunday Service” worship series around the globe–He’s hit Atlanta , Wyoming, Detroit , New York, and most recently, Jamaica. Many fans are still confused about what his Sunday Service actually is, comparing it to some weird cult. Plus, the fact that Ye just purchased an entire city in Wyoming doesn’t help his case. Everything surrounding Kanye has been questionable since he sported the red MAGA hat , then wore it again in the presence of the weirdo in office, referring to him as a father figure all while his biological father is 100% alive and well. Even so, it seems like his Trump supporter antics Kanye have’t helped him very much in the legal department. While his wife Kim Kardashian is getting prisoners freed left and right, the US Trademark Office is handing Kanye a very fat “L”. TMZ Reports that Kanye West can’t own the term for his merchandise and other purposes because someone else already owns it. Ye applied for exclusive ownership of the mark, “Sunday Service,” to slap it on clothing, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and tops. But, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office shut him down because, basically … someone’s already working that corner!!! Kanye started selling “Sunday Service” branded merchandise in April, during his Coachella weekend two Sunday Service debut performance, but applied for the trademark later on in July. Makes you wonder if the current owner got smart and applied for that trademark right after Coachella to seize the moment. Yeezy can still fight to appeal the decision, but he probably won’t come out victorious. Whoever dropped the ball on this is probably enduring the coldest Kanye rant of all time as we speak. To the surprise of many, it was announced that Chris Hemsworth would return to his role as Thor for an unprecedented fourth feature film. While many are excited and anticipating the 2021 release of Thor: Love & Thunder , the team at Marvel Studios is stuck making the biggest decision post Endgame: Do you keep Thor in the fat aesthetic he debuted in Endgame or return Chris Hemsworth to his lady-pleasing ripped body, which happens to be his natural state. Recently the director of the upcoming film Taika Waititi sat down with Yahoo to discuss the big question on everyone’s mind. While he’s working on the finishing touches for the script, he and Marvel still have no idea which direction to take Thor’s body. “This is an ongoing debate that we’re still having at Marvel,” Waititi told us during an interview promoting his new festival-winning comedic WWII drama Jojo Rabbit. “‘Cause we’re trying to figure out how long — how many months or years — this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place? I think we always want to keep changing it up with Thor. He’s so interesting when he’s changing all the time.” The entire purpose of Thor gaining weight was to convey the emotion he went through from losing everyone around him to Thanos. The series some thought would never die, based around creatures who often refuse to die, is finally set to say goodbye. We never thought we’d see the day. But The CW announced on Friday afternoon that Supernatural will wrap its incredible run after its upcoming 15th season, which will consist of 20 episodes. Beloved stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins confirmed the news in a video posted on Instagram late this week. “Well, it’s official. One more round for the Winchester brothers. Though nothing ever really ends in Supernatural…does it?” Ackles wrote alongside this footage from the cast. Supernatural will conclude after 327 episodes, making it the longest-running sci-fi/genre series in the history of American broadcast television. Rather impressive, huh? “We just told the crew that though we’re very, very excited about moving into our 15th season, it will be our last,” Ackles says in the video, adding: “Fifteen years of a show that has certainly changed my life… And we just wanted you to hear from us that though we’re excited about next year, it will be the finale. The big, grand finale of an institution. The actors were barely able to hold it together in this message to fans. “We’ve cried some tears, and we’ll cry some more,” a very emotional Padalecki added. “[We’re] grateful, and we’ll work all the emotion into next season.” Said executive producers Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb in a joint statement after the news went viral: Firstly, we would like to thank all the people who have been involved with the show both in front of and behind the camera. The Royal Wedding may be over, but the Royal Life has only just begun for Meghan Markle. Mere days after she captured the heart of a nation by exchanging vows with Prince Harry, Markle made her first official appearance. Not as Meghan Markle, of course. But as The Duchess of Sussex. Equipped with this new title and the perfect look to go along with it, Markle attended a 70th birthday party in honor of her father-in-law, Prince Charles. He is also the man who walked Meghan down the aisle last Saturday after Meghan’s own father fell victim to some health problems. Prince Harry and his lovely wife arrived at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday afternoon to attend a garden party for the former’s dad, a gathering that caused the newlyweds to postpone their honeymoon. It remains unclear exactly where the couple will vacation when they do finally get away from it all, but most Royal Sources assume it will be somewhere in Africa. For this festive occasion, Harry went with a classic black suit over a white button-down shirt and a blue necktie. Markle, whose fashion will now be scrutinzed for the rest of her life, donned a pale pink hat and a blush-colored Goat dress with sheer detailing. She styled her brunette hair in a chic side chignon. In photos from the party, Markle is seen sharing a laugh Charles and with Charles and Duchess Camilla, as over 6,000 people actually attended this celebration. Prince Charles does not turn 70 until November 14, but this event served to honor patronage, military affiliations and the charities he supports. The gathering also recognized the emergency personnel who responded to the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena, which took place exactly one year ago on Tuesday. Such an awful tragedy. In the days since the wedding, Prince Charles has received heaps of praise in the British press for the welcome he offered to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. At one point, he was seen taking Doria’s hand in the chapel when she was overcome with the emotion of the big day. Later, he walked with her as he departed the chapel alongside his wife. Harry and Meghan, of course, tied the knot in front of approximately 600 guests at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Later that night, they celebrated at a private reception – hosted by Charles – with about 200 of their close friends and family members. They haven’t said anything in public yet about the wedding, but the newlyweds did pose for this gorgeous photos shortly after they made their union official: Simply breathtaking, isn’t it? “The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway,” said Kensington Palace spokesman Jason Knauf, adding: “They will have their first engagement as a married couple in the week after the wedding.” At some point, we’d also have to imagine Markle and Harry sit down for a joint interview as a married couple. Alaskan Bush People viewers were treated to an early Christmas present on Friday night. Following many months off the air, the popular Discovery Channel series aired a special holiday episode over the weekend, one that provided fans with a critical update. We’re talking, of course, about Ami Brown. The family matriarch has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy for nearly the entire year. She’s been brutally honest about her condition and her very low odds of long-term survival. On this special installment, however, Ami and her loved ones received some positive news: She is finished with treatment. (Viewers also learned that the Browns relocated from Alaska to southern California in order for Ami to be seen by physicians as UCLA; it had not been known previously exactly where she was being treated.) “There is very single reason to be hopeful and absolutely optimistic,” Dr. Deborah Wong told Ami and Billy on the episode. There’s still a long way for Ami to go, of course, but it’s important to savor every moment in situations such as this. “Life is a gift,” Ami said in response to the doctor’s encouraging words. The family celebrated the good news with a surprise for Ami, as the Brown kids decorated their California house roof-to-foundation and prepared a Christmas dinner. Wearing a Santa hat at one point, Ami was led out of the home by Billy, blindfolded and holding her husband’s hand. Once she saw the garden and how it had been filled with lights and a Christmas tree, Ami could hardly contain her emotion. “The best thing about this Christmas is that mom gets to spend it with us,” daughter Birdy said on camera, adding: “It was looking bad for a while. Having mom here for this Christmas I think is the best gift that we could ever get.” We wish Ami and all the Browns the absolute best during this holiday season. Said Billy of the occasion: “For the Brown family, the meaning of Christmas is all things good… it’s that one time of the year that you really celebrate life. “It’s a time of giving and also receiving love, and kind of a combination of the whole year, right there together.” Prior to this episode and this update, the last we had heard from the Alaskan Bush People regarding Ami’s health was when daughter Rain revealed on Instagram that the family were “hopeful” as her mom began a second round of chemotherapy. As for the future of the show? This is unimportant compared to Ami’s well-being, of course, but plenty of fans out there remain curious. There’s been talk that the Browns are moving to Colorado for Season 8 , along with chatter over Bam Bam and his girlfriend landing a spinoff. Nothing has been confirmed yet, however. Jordan Peele Dishes On “Get Out” Jordan Peele’s hilariously terrifying (and already critically-acclaimed) Horror-Comedy Get Out is a fearless blend of heart-stopping thrills and satire splashed with the Black experience in not-very-post-racial America that will certainly push audiences to an uncomfortable yet strangely funny place never before explored in mainstream cinema. We caught up with the Key & Peele funnyman-turned-movie star-turned-writer/director at Morehouse College where he opened up about making the soon-to-be movie of the moment. “I think people who have criticized this film tend to be the people who haven’t seen it yet. I think the reason it’s resonating is because ‘where has this movie been, then?’ no one has given any concept like this a chance in a long time. We get tired of the same ‘ole thing. The real thing that’s poppin’ off about this movie is that it feels like ‘this is a missing piece’ we missed this. This movie should’ve been made 40 years ago, in some ways. This is the plot of Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner? which, by the way, you could do today and not change a word. So, I think it’s a fair opinion but I think it’s more because we missed this piece of the puzzle” Get Out is completely ridiculous in the best way possible with a soul-burning message that will hopefully reignite productive conversations about race in America. “First of all, it acknowledges issues that have gone unacknowledged so I think, in that, I believe we need to be discussing these things. I believe we need to have these conversations. I also believe the way we talk about race is tiring to a lot of people and often falls apart because of our egos and people getting defensive… some people so don’t want to be considered racist that they can’t look within themselves. So, I think content like this that is entertainment, first and foremost, I think that’s the end. That’s the Trojan Horse. We can come in, we can watch, we can have a good time, scream, yell, laugh, get scared, and then afterward you have to acknowledge what happened to you when you were in there. At that point, I feel like it should–I hope it promotes constructive conversation where we were all on the same page watching that movie so we can all agree that that movie rings true. Now, if you date a white guy you can be like ‘look, honey, I’m not trying to go to your house -laughs- I think that’s in some small way… hopefully, that is beginning to heal the conversation because it’s putting another touchstone where you can refer to it like ‘remember that dude in Get Out ? That’s what you’re doing right now’ you know, we can have that conversation” Movies directed by actors-turned-directors are a mixed bag of meh but there’s no doubting Jordan Peele’s eye for visceral visuals in his directorial debut. “I learned a lot from the director of Key & Peele and Keanu –Peter Atencio. I learned directing is very hard–hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. And it was kind of a different process writing the movie as it was directing and bringing all that together. Ultimately, I learned that this idea that I thought would never get made–the freedom I was able to give myself by saying ‘I’m not even gonna try and be ambitious with this. This is for me and me only.’ That gave me a freedom that allowed me to get to something that has resonated enough to get this current Rotten Tomatoes score of 100% so now I feel like ‘oh my God. What I like is universal even if it’s the most left field sort of idea on paper from Hollywood… make a Horror movie about race? No, that’s not happening. But if you’re true to yourself people feel that when you’re watching. People know ‘he’s doing him right now’ and I recognize it. Our souls are the same in a way and if you do justice to your emotion and your soul that’s where the commonality in all of us comes up. And I love seeing this in a Black crowd but I love seeing it in a mixed crowd too because everyone’s on the same ride. It transcends our differences, that’s a surprise to me” Peele’s impressive direction shines alongside perfect casting of unforgettable characters. “Every character was its own adventure figuring out. Now with Keith, Atlanta hadn’t come out when we made this movie. I casted LaKeith from his work on Short Term 12 , Selma , Compton , you know, and he has this quality where it’s like ‘I don’t know who that is but I like that guy. I like that guy.’ And he is so innately cool that I thought if I can get him in here and have the flip be the least cool–the least soulful brother that we’ve ever seen that it would be sorta jarring. But every character had their own requirements for me to tell the story. With “Rose,” with Allison Williams, I needed that relationship to be something that we want to work which is very difficult, especially with interracial relationships where it’s like there’s people on both sides who don’t want to see that work. “Making that relationship work, I had to have somebody that fit this mold of ‘you know what, yes, she’s undeniably caucasian but she’s also waking up and she’s funny and she’s intelligent and she’s kinda a badass with that cop -laughs- every character had their own thing I was looking for” Comedy’s best-kept secret Lil Rel Howery shines at the heart of Get Out and will certainly be everyone’s favorite new comedian by Monday. “He feels very familial to a lot of people. He’s got that feeling where it’s like ‘I know this dude. This is my cousin, this is my brother, this is my best friend. So, that was very important. He’s an amazing comedian. He’s a great improviser, many times I could be like ‘Rell you gotta say this line in the way that makes the most sense to you. Gimme several reads’ and he would find these new hilarious ways to do it. Most importantly, when it all came down to it, that’s a situation where that’s the guy I was picturing when I was writing it. And when I realized, I was like ‘Oh, Lil Rel! That. Is. Rod. Like, you just can’t take that away so it was all three of those things but, damn, what perfect casting, man. Javi Marroquin may or may not have cheated on Kailyn Lowry with her best friend . And Javi Marroquin may or may not now be trolling for dates on Twitter . But Javi Marroquin is definitely happy to see his kids. The Teen Mom 2 star returned home from his deployment in the Air Force last month, walking in the door at one point and being greeted by his six-year old stepson, Isaac, and his two-year old biological son, Lincoln. Marroquin shared a photo of the reunion on Instagram and included with it a very sweet caption that reads: “My world in one picture.” Of course, the scene would be a tad more sentimental if we couldn’t so obviously see the MTV cameraman in the foreground, filming this supposedly spontaneous meeting. The staged set-up doesn’t make Isaac, holding a “Welcome Home” sign, any less adorable. Nor does it make Lincoln and his big smile any less precious. But when you know you’ll be able to watch Teen Mom 2 online next season and see this scenario play out, well… that takes away at least a little bit of the emotion. It feels more like a scripted moment than a true moment of parental joy. After several roller coaster months, Lowry and Marroquin finally confirmed their plans to divorce in May. Since then, Marroquin has been accused of stepping out on Lowry in multiple occasions, prompting the couple’s eventual split. Lowry, meanwhile, has been suspected of having a same-sex relationship with a woman actually named Becky Hayter . We’re not sure what to believe, except that this is all very hard on the two most important people involved here: Issac and Lincoln. Lowry shares custody of Isaac with her ex, Jo Rivera, who also appears on the hit MTV docuseries. But Marroquin has grown very close to the toddler. “[Isaac’s] my best friend,” Javi said during the June 20 reunion episode of Teen Mom 2, adding at the time that he wants “all of us to be together” and blaming Lowry’s stubbornness for their divorce. Although Lowry still contends she plans to dissolve the couple’s nearly four-year marriage, the 24-year old did welcome her estranged husband back home via a sweet message via social media. “Welcome back! @javim9,” she wrote on Instagram yesterday. According to some, Ben Higgins may be the best looking Bachelor star of all-time. But that doesn't mean he still won't be a heartbreaker on Season 20 of this ABC hit. “I'm ready to find my wife,” Higgins says in this new trailer, though logic dictates that this means 24 women will go home NOT as Ben’s wife over the next several weeks. (EDITOR'S NOTE: To get an idea of who those scorned women will be, visit our section of The Bachelor spoilers .) In the following video, we see alternating clips of contestant excitedly telling the camera that Ben is falling in love with them… … and then subsequent by clips of women crying because he's rejected their attempts affection. There's nothing quite like preying on the emotion of vulnerable females as a way to garner ratings, huh? Higgins even refers to one woman as “crazy” after she tells the camera that she's about to “cry.” The 27-year-old software salesman previously told reporters he doesn't think he'll get overly physical with his suitors this season because he's legitimately seeking a soul mate. “I really wanted to concentrate on getting to know these woman outside of the physical aspect of it,” Higgins explained. “I think that is always important in a relationship, and it comes in time, but I wanted to make sure we spent our time getting to know each other one-on-one and not necessarily kissing or making out the whole the time.” You can start to watch The Bachelor online and on television when it premieres on Monday, January 4 at 8/7c on ABC.
