Holiday Good In The Hood: NBA Baller James Harden Takes 20 Single Moms And Their Kids On Christmas Shopping Spree

James Harden Takes 20 Single Moms Holiday Shopping James Harden acted like a real life Santa and took 20 single mothers holiday shopping with their kids according to KHOU reports: The Houston Rockets superstar and his mom took 20 single mothers and their kids, all dressed in “Team Harden” T-shirts and blue Santa hats, holiday shopping at a South Houston Target store. “Growing up, my mom was by her lonesome, so I had to do a lot, me, my brother, and my sister,” said Harden. “So I can kind of relate.” “I was trying to guide the moms in a direction so they can help guide their kids in a better direction,” said Monja Willis, Harden’s mother. Sunday’s event marked the fourth year in a row this mother and son, and his siblings have paid it forward. “I don’t want to say too much because I’m gonna get teary eyed,” said Demetrias, who was shopping with her grandson she’s helping raise. “I’m getting teary eyed right now. I don’t wanna cry, okay? But it means a lot to me. It really does.” Others had trouble holding back that emotion. “I’m really appreciative of this,” said Tammy Copeland, a single mother of three young kids who was taking part in the event. “I work and I go to school, and I’m a single mother of three kids. Very hard, but things like this, God just keeps on blessing me.” But the emotion for most of these kids as they filled their shopping carts was joy, an emotion contagious even to an NBA All-Star. James’ beard might have the power of Santa….

Gwen Stefani Performs "Used to Love You" on Ellen

Ellen DeGeneres may typically host a show that finds celebrities laughing, having a good time and occasionally being very scared . But Gwen Stefani made the program a tad dramatic for a few minutes during today's taping. The former No Doubt frontwoman took center stage on Ellen, performing the track “Used to Love You” in front of cameramen and the studio audience. Stefani unveiled the new track a few days ago, with most listeners assuming it was written with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale in mind. The couple divorced this summer after 13 years of marriage.  They seem to be on amicable terms, despite rumors that Rossdale pulled a Ben Affleck and cheated on Stefani with a nanny . The artist, meanwhile, has hilariously been linked to Blake Shelton. A recent tabloid story even alleged she and her fellow Voice panelist are planning a wedding , which may not exactly be accurate. We wouldn't start buying a new suit or a new dress if we were the loved ones of these stars, that's for sure. A guy and a girl are allowed to work together without being romantically involved, after all. We may be digressing, huh? Where were were?!? Stefani, of course, has not uttered a word about the single; she certainly hasn't confirmed talk that it was written with Rossdale in mind. She's just singing the lyrics and that's it. But watch the following video. Look at it closely, readers. Check out the emotion that pours forth from the beautiful singer. It's pretty hard to believe this isn't a personal ballad, wouldn't you say?

The young artist brought some serious sex appeal while performing her latest hit at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, singing “Cool for the Summer,” yet looking oh so very hot while doing it. Lovato was joined for a verse by Iggy Azalea, as the two got saucy before Lovato took off in a kiddy pool and confetti fell from the sky. Did she cry on stage like Justin Bieber ? Or dance with drag queens like Miley Cyrus ? No and no. But Demi came out in full sexy force, not lacking for energy or enthusiasm. Watch her performance now.

Tori Kelly Slays First-Ever MTV Video Music Awards Performance

The vocals on “Should've Been Us” were insane, while Kelly came across like a total rock star when throwing her guitar to the audience. Emotion? Talent? Enthusiasm? Teresa Giudice Hires Crisis Manager; Will It Help?

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe appeared in federal court yesterday, holding hands on the way inside and pleading not guilty to a pair of new fraud charges . Now, facing the possibility of decades behind bars, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star has hired Wendy Feldman of Custodial Coaching. She describes herself to Us Weekly as a “legal coach and crisis manager,” which are both jobs that apparently exist. Feldman herself spent nearly a year-and-half in prison for securities fraud and has advised other famous clients (such as Lindsay Lohan) during their trials and tribulations. Considering the numerous charges against Giudice, is Feldman on board to prepare this reality star for a long jail sentence? “I have not been hired to prepare either Teresa or Joe Guidice for prison,” Feldman tells Us. “In fact, most of my work is well-known as crisis management oriented. In addition, I am known as director of alternative sentencing at Cliffside Malibu where Ms. Lohan recently was. However, I am acting as the legal coach and crisis manager only for Teresa Giudice.” Teresa Giudice Facing New Fraud Charges Teresa and Joe Giudice were indicted Monday on two new counts of fraud, bringing the total number up to 41. Said Teresa’s attorney in a statement: “As she did with respect to the allegations contained in the original indictment, Teresa intends to plead ‘not guilty’ to the allegations in the new indictment. “She looks forward to defending herself at the trial, scheduled for February 24, 2014. Beyond that, we will answer all of the charges in court, not out.”

The X Factor Top 10: Who Stood Out?

The X Factor Top 10 took to the stage last night, with contestants covering a wide range of artists. There were takes on Elton John… One Direction … Queen… and The Beatles, just to name a few. But were any of them actually any good? That’s the question we’ll try to answer below… Rion Page – “Your Song” Jeff Gutt – “Bohemian Rhapsody” Tim Olstad sang John’s “Sorry Seems To Be the Hardest Word” and seemed to lose all control when he stood up and walked away from the keyboard. Not much originality or emotion here. Jeff Gutt went all “Bohemian Rhapsody” on viewers, after talking about his son once again in his introduction video. It was okay. But the songs requires the right kind of theatrical performer – and Gutt isn’t him. Khaya Cohen finished in the Bottom 3 last Thursday and tried to make up for that with “Let It Be.” But the staging was very odd and there was far too much yelping. That’s never a good thing. Josh Levi told us that “Sweet Dreams” were made of this and it was a solid vocal performance. As usual, though, it was also over-produced, as the artist starting off in a red telephone booth for some reason. Still, points for being in tune. Alex & Sierra sang “Best Song Ever” and it was terrific. These two are our favorite. They improved on the original version. Rion Page was a close second, dedicating “Your Song” to her baby brother. Her best vocal to date. Josh Levi – “Sweet Dreams” Alex & Sierra – “Best Song Ever” Carlito Olivero used holograms for his rendition of “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction.” That was plaid weird. The singing itself wasn’t too awful, but not much really stood out. Except for the holograms. And that isn’t a compliment. Lillie McCloud did great work on “This Woman’s Work.” She brought the emotion to Kate Bush’s classic track and nearly made Kelly Rowland cry. Ellona Santiago went with Ellie Goulding’s “Burn” and lacked any real passion while doing so. Some pitch problems also plagued this performance. Restless Road wants to “Fix You,” per Coldplay. Too bad the harmonies were all over the place, making us wonder why Simon Cowell gave the group a standing ovation. Oh, right, he’s their mentor. What a dumb concept. Who was your favorite from the evening? And who do you foresee going home tonight?

Airport Sign Falls, Kills Young Boy

Tragic news out of Alabama yesterday, as a sign toppled over the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport, injuring three civilians and taking the life of a 10-year old boy. Luke Bresette was rushed to a local hospital following the incident, where he was soon pronounced dead. His mother was also a victim in the accident and is in critical condition, while two older brothers were also injured. “We’re going to continue to look into the situation, but for now we have secured the site,” airport spokesperson Toni Herrera-Bast told ABC News . Six bystanders were needed to life the 300-pound flight status sign after it fell, an incident that took place not long after the airport underwent a $201 million renovation. Said Birmingham Mayor William Bell in a statement Friday, addressing the tragedy and investigation. “I have asked our public safety staff to assist this family in their time of need in any way possible as they grapple with what has happened.”
