Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez: Will They Make It Down the Aisle?

Alex Rodriguez is used to hitting home runs, having power 696 balls over the fence during his Major League Baseball career. But he really hit one out of the park earlier this month. That’s when Rodriguez proposed to Jennifer Lopez and the singer/actress/all-around-goddess replied with one simple, albeit hugely meaningful, syllable: YES . Indeed, the mega famous and  ultra wealthy couple is now engaged . And they’ve spent the two weeks since this announcement basking in each other’s hotness, while also gushing over each other on social media. “A soulmate isn’t someone who completes you. No, a soulmate is someone who inspires you to complete yourself,” shared Rodriguez the day Lopez agreed to be his wife, posting a quote online that also reads: “A soulmate is someone who loves you with so much conviction, and so much heart, that it is nearly impossible to doubt just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you have always wanted to be.” Who knew he was such a romantic, right? This past weekend, meanwhile, Rodriguez posted the first photo we published above on his Instagram account and praised his fiancee’s acting ability in the caption. “This beautiful woman starts shooting her movie tomorrow, ‘Hustlers,'” he began. “I won’t play spoiler, but I can’t wait until you all see how she transforms herself into a completely different character!!” Adds the long-time steroid user: “She’s been working so hard lately. I’m glad we were able to enjoy a quick little break before she dives into this new project. Love you baby and continue to shine, fly high and inspire all of us.” Lopez, for her part, has also appeared quite smitten with Rodriguez. She has shared a couple photos from his proposal and she’s seemingly brushed off claims that he’s been cheating on her . So, everything is all good, right? You can practically hear the wedding bells ringing already, can’t you? Maybe, some followers believe. Maybe not, others counter. Rodriguez, for example, loves to play the field. We don’t mean this in a baseball sense, even though he won a pair of Gold Gloves over the course of his tainted career. We mean it in the sense that, ever since his divorce in 2008, the legendary slugger has gone to bed with Torrie Wilson, Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson, just to name a few beautiful women. Some might say he found the literal most beautiful woman in Jennifer Lopez and he’ll therefore be satisfied and settle down. But Rodriguez was not an honest baseball player, serving lengthy suspensions for performance-enhancing drugs and lying multiple times about his experience with these substances. So who’s to say he’ll be an honest lover? Lopez, meanwhile, has been married three times. Which is totally and completely fine. Zero judgment here. You just get the sense that she’s maybe more in love with the idea of being in love and desperate to finally make a union work. We mean, let’s be honest, Rodriguez came across like a total tool during his days on the diamond. It’s hard to imagine he’s changed all that much simply because he gave J. Lo a giant diamond. To be clear, we’re rooting for these stars to make it. We’d never actively cheer for anyone to break-up. We just have a few questions and many doubts. Do you share them? Jennifer Lopez Shares Proposal Pics, Still Loves Alleged Cheater A-Rod

Jennifer Lopez doesn’t seem to care that Alex Rodriguez may have had multiple women down on their knees in front of him over the past several months. Because the former Major League Baseball player and ongoing alleged cheater got down on one knee himself this past weekend. Indeed, days after  Rodriguez proposed to Lopez and announced to the world that “she said yes,” the singer/actress has shared a few photos from the special moment on her Instagram page. It’s almost as if the whole thing was staged and actually NOT a surprise in any way, shape or form. The beautiful images were snapped during sunset while Rodriguez and Lopez were on vacation in the Bahamas. As you can see above and below, both superstars are dressed impeccably, with Rodriguez hilariously rocking the 2009 World Series ring he won as a member of the New York Yankees. According to online estimates, the diamond presented here is worth around $5 million. “Locking it down. #futuremrsrodriguezthis Rodriguez captioned his Instagram post on Tuesday, which featured these same snapshots. The famous couple began dating on February 3, 2017 and have legitimately seemed very much in love ever since. HOWEVER, shortly after news of their engagement went viral, Jose Canseco took a pretty hard shot at his fellow former steroid user. The polarizing ex-Oakland Athletics slugger stated very plainly on Twitter that Rodriguez was carrying on an affair with Canseco’s ex-wife. “Watching World of Dance watching J.Lo text Alex Rodriguez little does she know that he is cheating on her with my ex-wife Jessica poor girl she has no idea who he really is,” Canseco wrote. He then added: “I was there a few months back with her when he called her on her phone.” Canseco, for whatever it may be worth, was the same person who was maligned way back in the day when he wrote a book in which he claimed tons of Major League Baseball players took performance-enhancing drugs. He turned out to be correct, of course. Elsewhere, a random fitness model named Lauren Hunter told The National Enquirer last year that she was also sleeping with A-Rod during his relationship with Lopez. She complimented Rodriguez on his sexual prowess and penis size and said their affair ended in May of 2017, about three months after he started to give it to J-Lo. “He told me he loved me, and he’s loved me for a long time,” she told the Enquirer. None of these rumors appear to have dampened Rodriguez’s mood, though. Not when, to use his own words, he just locked down one of the world’s most breathtaking human beings. Rodriguez went ahead and opened up about their engagement in his Instagram story on Tuesday. “There aren’t many words to share with you, only feelings. Gratitude. Excitement. And just … joy,” he wrote alongside a photo from the proposal in which he’s kissing Lopez’s forehead. Kendall Jenner Just Made Ben Simmons Horny AF

As previously reported, Ben Simmons isn’t just banging inside the paint these days on his way to an average of 9.3 rebounds per game. He’s also still banging Kendall Jenner , that much has been evident for awhile. Following reports of their relationship’s demise in late September , the model and the professional basketball player have continued to see each other, both in public while wearing clothes and in private while wearing nothing at all. They’ve just managed to mostly keep this romance on the down low. Until now! On Wednesday, December 26, the reality star shared a new glamour shot to her Instagram that garnered some major attention. The black and white portrait (below) depicted the 23-year-old framing her face with her hands and quickly amassed more than two million Likes, along with thousands of comments. But one of these remarks has gone far more viral than any other. Despite Simmons having never really acknowledged his connection with Jenner, he responded to this image by dropping two, flirty, drooling face emojis at the bottom of the photo. You can see his much-discussed reply above. “Kendall and Ben have been making more of an effort in their relationship recently, and have been seeing each other regularly for the last month now,” a source told E! News last month, adding: “They both are very busy with their careers, but have always been in touch.” Jenner, of course, is a legitimate model. She travels the world on a near-monthly basis, walking runways and showing off clothing on behalf of various famous designers. Simmons, meanwhile, plays point guard for the Philadelphia 76ers. To go along with the aforementioned rebound total each game, he averages 16 points per contest and 7.9 assists, although his outside shooting remains a mess. It’s essentially non-existent. As for that supposed split? As for what happened this fall? “They never had a falling out, it was just always hard for Kendall because of her work schedule,” reports E!. “They reconnected when Ben was in town recently and have been seeing each other since.” A few weeks ago, Kendall was spotted at a game between the 76ers and the Washington Wizards, although her job often makes it difficult for her attend her boyfriend’s matchups. Because each is so busy and because each is so frequently traveling, Jenner and Simmons aren’t exclusive. They aren’t claiming to be serious. Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus Just Got Married. For Real.

Miley Cyrus recently referred to Liam Hemsworth as her survival partner . But now it appears as if the singer can maybe call her very handsome significant other by another name instead: HUSBAND . We’re serious this time. We know you’ve heard rumors forever and ever and ever about Miley and Liam being married , but it appears this time around like those rumors truly are a reality. How else to explain the series of Instagram photos that just went viral across the Internet? A number of Photos and video went up today on surfer friend Conrad Jack Carr’s social media page — and they depict Cyrus and Hemsworth all dressed up, seemingly cutting a wedding cake. You can check out that image above. Below, meanwhile, you can see a singer belting out some kind of song in front of Mr. and Mrs. balloons. Elsehwere in this array of intriguing snapshots, Liam and his brother Chris and Luke are doing a “shotski,” which entails taking sips of alcohol off off a ski. Look hard enough and you’ll be able to see Miley’s mother, Tish, in one of these pictures. The photos were all snapped at Liam and Miley’s Nashville home, multiple outlets have confirmed. Although Miley’s sisters, Noah and Brandi, aren’t seen in any of these images, they seemingly attended and posed together in a picture posted to Brandi’s Imstagram Story. Noah, for her part, snapped a picture  with Carr and also shared a Story of herself with tears in her eyes and gave the camera a thumbs up. This really does appear to be the real thing, folks. Miley and Liam met in 2010 on the set of the Nicholas Sparks movie, The Last Song.  They got engaged in 2012, but broke up 2014. The stars reconciled the next year and got engaged again , yet they never seemed to be in any rush to tie the knot. A week ago, Cyrus made a few hilarious headlines when she gave Hemsworth credit for his good dick game. Yes, his good dick game . “I call him my survival partner now,” she had previously told Howard Stern, adding this month: “He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is. It is why you pair up with someone is for survival.” We love it. And we send these newlyweds are very best wishes!

Cardi B and Offset: HA! People Think We’re Really in a Fight!

If you’re looking to get either Cardi B or Offset a gift this year for Christmas, don’t bother with a pullover. Why? Because the artists are already pulling one over on the American public! It was less than two weeks ago that Cardi B announced she and the Migos member were ending their marriage. She didn’t speak ill of Offset in this announcement, but just a day later word started to spread that Offset tried to arrange a threesome without Cardi and had been cheating with some woman named Sum Bunni. Ms. Bunni later confirmed she had been taking it from Offset during his marriage. Cardi has remained mostly silent on this controversy, but was forced to take action this past Saturday night after Offset allegedly crashed her concert and tried to apologize on stage. Cardi B Kicks Offset Off Stage The singer was having none of this public display and gave her estranged husband the boot. You can relive the incident here: Was this a legitimate surprise? Did security somehow fail miserably at its job let Offset just storm the stage? It seems impossible to believe, doesn’t it? And that’s because this was clearly a staged act, made obvious and notable by the fact that Cardi’s publicist actually led Offset on to the stage over the weekend. Fans have been suspicious that this was some kind of PR ploy ever since it transpired — and now insiders are confirming that Cardi and Offset are sitting back and simply laughing at the fools who believe otherwise. Of course the interruption was staged, you guys. Shortly after the video of Offset cutting into Cardi’s set went viral, fans started calling Offset out for daring to do such a thing. This prompted Cardi to speak out on Instagram in defense of her annoying husband. “I see a lot of people bashing me because they feel that because I’m defending my baby father, they think that I’m gonna get back together with him,” said Cardi, who shares five-month-old daughter Kulture Kiari with Offset. She continued: “I’m not saying that I’m gonna get back together with him. I just don’t like that bashing online thing.” We’re pretty certain Cardi B will get back together with Offset , but for now she just wants folks to give him a break. She even referenced Pete Davidson’s very recent breakdown over the weekend, citing how the SNL cast member wrote on social media that he no longer wanted to be on Earth. “Just earlier, you just saw how Pete Davidson was talking about how he don’t even want to be on this earth because mad people be coming at him every single day,” she said, adding: “I wouldn’t want my baby father to have that feeling because of millions of people be bashing him every day. That’s a nasty feeling, and I wouldn’t want that.” What would Cardi and Offset actually get out of fooling everyone in this manner? Considering how they are already very successful and considering how being in an up-and-down relationship really isn’t good for anyone’s brand, we have no idea. All we can say for certain is that this is all a bunch of BS. The couple is not in a fight. They just want you to think that they are.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Accused of Animal Abuse at Wedding

To most observers, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are an adorable couple who is totally in love and who will be together forever. These fans were thrilled to see the stars get married last weekend . To PETA, however? To an organization that lives to call out celebrities in order to further its animal rights agenda? Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra are disrespectful abusers who deserve to be shamed for what transpired on their big day. You see… the singe/actor and his bride actually wed in two ceremonies on Saturday: one Western and one traditional Hindu. This is typical for a couple that hails from divergent ethnic and religious backgrounds; and it’s really pretty sweet, being emblematic of two traditions being melded into one for all of eternity. But try telling that to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. A fan site shared a photo shortly after the Hindu-inspired ceremony of a white horse outfitted in red and gold, which Jonas used to make his grand entrance. There was also a white elephant with seat for two on its back present at the event. In response to the sight of these animals being used in such a manner, PETA has released the following statement: Priyanka was ill-served by not being advised of the firestorm that would be caused by participating in animal abuse. It doesn’t make a person look big or glamorous to promote cruelty to animals who have no choice but to serve. It makes them look small. Now, look, we love animals here at The Hollywood Gossip. Really, we do. We’ve been tearing up over this George H.W. Bush service dog photo for the last 24 hours straight. We’re all for PETA’s overall mission of protecting four-legged creatures and of ensuring that the world is a safe place for horses, cows, birds, canines, cats. Heck, every type of animal! We’re just not sure if slamming newlyweds for alleged “animal abuse” is really the way to accomplish their goal. The same way we weren’t sure about comparing meat-eating to rape back in the day. The group even acknowledged in this same statement that stars across the globe are generally very positive role models when it comes to their treatment of animals. “Overwhelmingly, these days, PETA is delighted to see so many celebrities who feel passionately about protecting animals,” PETA wrote. We’re guessing Nick and Priyanka should be included in this group. Riding a horse a few feet to honor your religion’s tradition is not a form of animal abuse. It’s just not.

The Walking Dead Recap: What Happened to Daryl?

Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead continued to fill in the blanks about what happened during the time jump.  We started things off with Carol and Henry finding Daryl in the woods living rough.  Not one to show up without an ulterior motive, Carol said that she needed Daryl to coach Henry into becoming a solid fighter and a stand up young man.  Daryl was against this because he was happy staying alone with his trusty four-legged companion. Oh yes, Daryl got himself a dog, and it’s smarter than you would think.  In any case, Carol put her manipulation head on, and got the dog trapped, fully knowing that Henry would help free the companion.  It went to plan and allowed Daryl to see that there was a lot to like about Henry.  Daryl subsequently opened up about why he was out there in the open without any human interaction. He was skeptical that Rick was actually dead because there was no body.  He made a great point, and it proved that even though he and Rick had their differences before the big event, Daryl was still going to be there for his friend.  Elsewhere, Jesus and Aaron were on what appeared to be a date when they noticed a flare lighting up the sky in the distance.  It was Rosita, and she claimed that Eugene was locked up in a barn after they heard walkers whispering. Rosita was adamant that they needed to get their ally back.  However, Jesus and Aaron were all about getting Rosita to safety because their friend was safe in a barn and she was a bit worse for wear.  Back at the Hilltop, we learned that Maggie took off with Georgie with the aim of building a new community, and Jesus was left in charge.  Jesus was struggling to get acclimated with leading the people, and it was starting to rub Tara the wrong way. Without guidance, the place would fall apart.  Jesus resolved that he needed to switch things up if he wanted to prove that he was the right candidate for the job.  Meanwhile, Michonne, Siddiq, and D.J. traveled with Magna, Yumiko, Kelly, Connie, and Luke towards the Hilltop.  Despite the newbies claiming that they were thankful, Michonne took a chance on them, she stopped them in their tracks.  She only went along with them to see if their story checked out, presumably so she could get some revenge if they were liars.  The biggest surprise was that Michonne had no idea Maggie left the Hilltop behind. It confirmed that the relationship between the communities was hanging by a thread.  Siddiq had to tell his boss about it, and she was not impressed because she thought they were closer.  In the end, Daryl, Carol, and Henry arrived alongside the new group at the Hilltop, and everyone got ready to go on the mission to save Eugene’s life.  What are your thoughts on the episode? Britney Spears’ frustration over her costly new child-support agreement with Kevin Federline has been eclipsed by gratitude. She and her loved ones are a live and safe. In these wildfires, so many others cannot say the same. Evacuating her Thousand Oaks home has reportedly made her eager to stop taking things for granted — and to get engaged. HollywoodLife reports that the horrific wildfires in California have spurred Britney to action — and possibly to get engaged. The insider says that, in the aftermath of the Thousand Oaks fire that forced Britney to evacuate her home, she doesn’t want to “waste a moment.” “Britney has been very shaken up by the fires,” the source explains. She had to evacuate her home on November 13 as the raging fire tore through, consuming entire towns. All told, the California fires have left more than 80 dead, and there are at least 1,000 people missing or unaccounted for. Britney knows this. “She’s feeling so lucky to be out of danger with her family,” the insider reveals. Britney and her loved ones are safe and she’s really living up to the title of one of her best songs — “Lucky.” “But,” the source notes. “It’s still very emotional for her.” Of course! This news has been heartbreaking for us all. “She’s going to be making a lot of donations to help the victims,” the insider claims. (That would be wonderful, but let’s not put words in someone’s mouth or make promises on their behalf) “And,” the source continues. “She’s making a point to let everyone in her life know how much she loves them.” That includes her wonderful sons , Sean Preston and Jayden. But they’re not the only ones she loves. … She and her hunky boyfriend Sam Asghari are extremely close. “She and Sam are already like two peas in a pod,” the insider affirms. That much has been evident to us all based upon their activity on social media. They were already close, the source says, “but this tragedy has made her even more aware of how lucky she is.” He’s a younger, outrageously good-looking fitness model. She’s gorgeous and she’s also Britney Freaking Spears . They’re both lucky. “And,” the insider continues, Britney can’t stop thinking about “how very much she loves him.” This isn’t just a relationship built on branding or lust or mutual convenience, folks. It sounds like love. “She knows she wants to spend her life with him,” the source reports. Initially taken in by his overpowering hotness on the set of her music video for “Slumber Party,” she’s been captivated by who he is as a person and partner. “He’s her Prince Charming,” the insider characterizes. “And,” the source explains. “The fires this week have reminded her how very precious life can be.” That makes a whole lot of sense. Nothing makes you remember to make it clear how much you love people like the experience of losing a loved one. Now more than ever, Britney is conscious of how quickly things can change for the worst. “And,” the insider says. “It’s made her really focus on not wasting one moment.” Apparently, she’s looking to take things to the next level. “Britney’s more eager than ever to get engaged to Sam,” the source reports. (Insert the obligatory joke about how a lot of people want to get engaged to Sam Asghari) The insider says that Britney wants to make things official soon “and she wants it to happen over the holidays this year.” As with any rumors of an engagement or looming engagement, we’ll take this report with a grain of salt. Obviously, Britney and Sam are a beautiful, loving couple. We don’t know that they’re looking to change anything about their relationship. What’s the rush? And, given how recently Britney was reminded of the staggering financial cost of past marriages (thanks, Kevin Federline), she may not be in a hurry. We’re not suggesting that Sam Asghari is a mistake. We’re just saying that he and Britney can take thier time and enjoy themselves. The singers are “determined to have a child together,” an insider says in the latest issue of Us Weekly, expounding a bit on the topic with this quote: “They are in the final stages of choosing the woman who will carry their baby.
