A Louisiana man recently drowned during a beautiful vacation in Tanzania as he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, who never even got the chance to give him her answer. Kenesha Antoine posted a heartbreaking Facebook post on earlier this week that her boyfriend, Steven Weber Jr., died while he popped the big question underwater. “I can’t hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you, but everything I love about you I love more every day,” it reads. The Pose star is the first openly gay Black man to win the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award. Porter, 50, has emerged as one of the brightest star’s for FX’s hit series, Pose , which boasts the largest ensemble of transgender and LGBTQ and actors across any television show in its category. This follows Porter’s 2013 Tony Award win for the Broadway play Kinky Boots and his 2014 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album for Kinky Boots as well. During his acceptance speech, Porter quoted the late writer James Baldwin who also combated the stigma of being a Black gay creative during a time where criticism of one’s sexual orientation was barely tolerated by many. “James Baldwin said “Took many years of vomiting up all the filth that I had been taught about myself, and halfway believed, before I could walk around this Earth like I had the right to be here”,” Porter said in his speech. “I have the right, you have the right, we all have the right!” As it has been noted in times past, Porter was indeed stylish per usual. Before Zack Snyder basically ruined the DCEU with his long-time coming yet lackluster superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (even that title was hella corny), he took another beloved comic book series and brought it to the silver screen with Watchmen . Though the 2009 film got mixed reviews from both critics and fans alike, it was a visually stunning achievement as far as comic book films go and now HBO is looking to turn the cult classic 80’s comic book franchise into a brand new series with a different iteration of the original source material Snyder brought to life. Starring Regina King as Angela Abar who’s a wife by day and masked vigilanti by night, Watchmen is set in an alternate reality in which the world is five minutes from midnight on the Doomsday Clock and the only thing keeping the planet as we know it from utter destruction are masked outlaw heroes who put in that work that law enforcement are prohibited from doing. Though it doesn’t seem like we’ll be graced with the presence of a Doctor Manhattan or a Comedian, the show does seem to include a gang of Rorschach disciples and an older version of Ozymandias. We also get a glimpse of the OG Watchmen airplane, the Owlship, crash landing onto the earth. Will another original Watchmen hero be behind the wheel? Guess we’ll have to wait and see. So I took my earnings from the commercial and moved to New York city and from that point I signed with two different agencies and the rest is history.” That history includes walking in shows at New York Fashion Week and leaving behind a part-time job at Forever 21 to spend days smizing on set. “I’ve working with a lot of different brands. TMZ even shared a picture showing Fab out on a date with some mystery woman. Hours after the story broke, Fabolous hopped on Instagram to dispute the story. He shared a couple of posts on his feed. Domestic Violence Case The response to the video is rather interesting. People don’t think Fab sounds all that convincing and are surprised that he jumped on the internet to address a rumor. I don’t know what to believe. You never know what couples will do, especially when abuse is a part of their relationship, as we have seen. But I can admit that there was something desperate about this video. And I can’t understand why Fab would say he would need to fight for his relationship by posting this video, if there was really nothing going on. Perhaps he really was on a date and is trying to save himself from having to deal with those consequences. Then again, this wouldn’t be the first time he’s stepped out on Emily. Meanwhile, Emily hasn’t said anything to address the TMZ story, which has people thinking that perhaps the two really are done and Fabolous is the last to know. What do you think is going on here?
