Jill Duggar Posts Photo of Baby’s Casket, Receives Major Backlash on Instagram

Usually, Duggar controversies are pretty predictable in nature. They tend to come in one of two varieties: There are the instances in which a member of the family intentionally posts something controversial on social media, such as when Derick Dillard bullied a transgender teen and was fired by TLC as a result. And then there are those cases in which a member of the family behaves in such a way that one is reminded they never learned the basics of human interaction as a result of their profoundly sheltered upbringing. For examples of this, look at any aspect of Josh Duggar’s dating profiles . But the latest scandal involving Jill Duggar is sort of an uneasy combination of these two previously-established types: On Monday, Jill posted the above photo to her Instagram page. “Today has been a really hard day as I watched a couple do what no one should ever have to do…bury their little baby,” she captioned the pic “Although our hearts break here on earth, we look forward to the day when we will see Jesus face to face, he will wipe every tear from our eyes and we will be reunited with those we miss so much,” Jill continued. “Until our race on earth is over, let us live intentionally, glorify God through our lives, serve Him well, fulfilling His purpose for our us until we draw our last breath.” Yes, Jill posted a photo of an infant’s casket. And it would be a massive understatement to say that the decision didn’t sit well with many of her fans. While Jill unquestionably posted something controversial on social media, it seems she did so not with the intention of stirring the pot, but rather as a result of a major blind spot with regard to proper social media etiquette. Jill’s heart may have been in the right place, but followers made it clear that they found her post to be in poor taste: “Not everything has to be an Instagram post, even with the purest intentions. This is insanely tacky of you to post,” one person wrote, as pointed out by OK! magazine. “Why would you post a picture of someone’s baby in a casket? You are so tacky,” another fan added. “Hopefully she got permission to post this,” a third commenter remarked. “With the Duggars being in the spotlight & [having] more than the average person viewing their profiles, it’s certainly not appropriate to post stuff like this unless given permission.” Other fans were even harsher in their criticism: “This is someone else’s deepest heartbreak. I hope you rethink this post and delete it,” one user commented. “Oh boy hope you rethink this post…this is such a private heartbreaking thing…not your story to tell,” another wrote. Many also pointed out that the post is poorly-timed, as it may well trigger painful memories for one of Jill’s sisters. Joy-Anna Duggar suffered a miscarriage in July, and is still so distraught by the loss that was forced to leave Amy Duggar’s baby shower in distress. Again, we imagine Jill’s suffering on behalf of her friends is genuine — but her post may not have been the best way to express her compassion. Kanye West’s ‘Jesus Is King’ Album Reportedly Not Dropping Friday

Source: Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty Confusion circling a Kanye West album should surprise no one at this point. Variety is reporting from a source that Ye’s Jesus Is King album will not be dropping on Friday (September 27). Here we go again. Despite the publication sharing information, it got from a source close to the situation, West’s wife, Kim Kardashian, is doubling down on the Friday release date. The reality star retweeted a picture from an account belonging to someone named “Colin” who Yeezy does follow. 2 more days Jesus is King pic.twitter.com/ZKqmqkMeHZ — colin (@colinags) September 25, 2019 Per Variety : A meeting about the album between West and Def Jam executives recently took place in the rapper’s occasional home base of Wyoming, where he staged a massive event to launch his “Ye” album last year (news of the meeting and the album’s delay was  first reported by Hits ). West held one of his semi-weekly church-like “Sunday Services” in Wyoming last weekend, which was attended by super-producer Rick Rubin — who came in during the final stages two of West’s last three solo albums, “Yeezus” and “Life of Pablo,” and met with him the month before “Ye” dropped — so his presence suggests that an album is finished. Fans and Hip-Hop enthusiasts are no strangers to Ye’s theatrics as of late when it comes to releasing his albums. Kanye fans waited for the Yandhi which was supposed to drop in September 2018. The project was delayed multiple times while West was hanging out in Africa before subsequently being shelved. Then there were the ambitious five albums in five weeks rollout that didn’t follow the schedule at all. Instead, we got a watered-down version of Teyana Taylor’s G.O.O.D. Music debut, a subpar Nas album, and two forgettable Ye featured joints. At least we got some pure raw from Pusha T though. Lets also not forget The Life of Pablo’s disastrous rollout that saw the perfectionist continuously re-record and mix the album well after its release. Well if Kim says it’s still coming on Friday then hey we gotta belive his wife right? She was the one who broke the news of the album’s existence in the first place. Even his boy Consequence admitted to HipHopDX when it comes to  Kanye, “it always runs down to the wire.” We shall see what happens at the stroke of midnight. — Photo: Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty

Avril Lavigne Accused of Betraying Christ, Promoting Devil-Worship in New Song

Late last year, legendary singer Avril Lavigne was fending off rumors that she had died and been replaced by a clone . Now, people with wild theories are once again coming for her, but this time the accusations are a little less scifi . Avril is promoting her new music, and fans are accusing her of denying Jesus and selling her soul to the devil. Back in February, Avril Lavigne dropped her new track: “I Fell in Love with the Devil.” “I fell in love with the devil / And now I’m in trouble / I fell in love with the devil / I’m underneath his spell (ah),” the lyrics read. The lyrics continue: “Someone send me an angel / To lend me a halo / I fell in love with the devil / Please, save me from this hell.” “Angels and devils always fight over me (fight over me) / Take me to heaven, wake me up from this dream,” Avril sings. Her lyrics go on: “Even in sunlight a cloud shadows over me (shadow over me) / It’s now or never, wake me up from this dream.” Now, she is sharing photos believed to be either outtakes or behind-the-scenes glimpses at her music video. In the images, she wears long robes of black while standing in the woods. She is holding a truly massive cross clutched in her hands. To fans who have followed her since the early 2000s, she is looking every bit the gothic-chic look to which she aspires. And, for the record, she spoke out about he Christian faith, thanking God for her life during her Lyme disease battle several years ago. But Avril’s history and a common sense understanding that lyrics tend to be poetic rather than literal did not seem to influence some haters. “You need Jesus,” accused one follower, who noted that they also despise another recent song, “Head Above Water.” “God saved you and blessed you with another opportunity to choose,” the comment continued. “Now you have this crap? Man, what a shame.” “I’ve been a fan since you came out, [but] this is a turnoff,” the hater declared. “Get your soul right with Jesus.” “[He’s the] only one who can save you,” the former fan wrote. “Yet you hold his cross and blaspheme his name? I pray for your salvation.” “Are you Christian?” another follower demanded to know. “Or are you mocking of Jesus?” Oh boy. “I’ll [have] to unfollow you now,” another fan declared. “How can you fall in love with Devil when God created you with amazing talent, which made [you] so famous?” the way too serious follow asked. “Thank God for the blessings, not Devil,” the commenter concluded. “God, keep my head above water,” reads a quote from Avril’s other recent single. But clearly, that was not enough of a declaration for some of her followers. “God, keep my head above water…falls in love with the devil? Ummmm k. No, thanks,” wrote another goofy hater. The comment continued: “He’s not someone to be playing with. But you do you.” Well that last part was kind of nice, even if they were being sarcastic. “Still think her ‘Head Above Water’ is about God?” asked one follower, hoping to be seen by fans. “Nope.” “You need Jesus, young lady,” admonished another. “So disappointing to see you playing with religious symbols,” another decried. That same comment added: “I’m a huge fan, but I don’t really, really like it because I am a Christian.” For the record, actual religious minorities who are marginalized see their religious symbols misued across almost all media. In this case, it’s not even clear that that’s happening. It’s a Christian woman with a cross. “A lot of you guys are saying about how Avril is making fun of God and making satanic references by this song and photo,” a defender observed. “The metaphor, ‘I fell in love with the devil,’ means that she fell in love with a bad person and she was in a toxic relationship with them,” the comment reasoned. “Another example of this is her song, ‘Birdie,'” the actual fan with reading comprehension wrote. The explanation continued: “She is basically saying that she fell in love with a bad person.” “And,” the defender adds. “She is praying to God to help her manage and break free when she says, ‘Someone send me an angel.'” “So don’t comment s–t before you actually listen to and understand the song,” the fan concluded.

Dog the Bounty Hunter Pays New Tribute to Late Wife, Announces Second Celebration of Her Life

Beth Chapman may be gone. But she is very much not forgotten. A day after the late reality star and wife of Dog the Bounty Hunter was laid to rest in Hawaii , Duane Chapman shared a new tribute to his soulmate on social media. And he announced that a second celebration of her amazing life will also take place next week. Having poured his heart out on many occasions since Beth passed away, Duane kept the caption to the above photo very simple, straightforward and factual this time around. It simply included the time, date and location of the aforementioned second memorial service: July 13, 2019 – Heritage Christian Center. 14401 E. Exposition Avenue. Aurora, Colorado 80012 – Doors open at 1:00 Service starts at 2:00. On June 26, Beth passed away at 51 years old after a long battle with throat cancer. She had been diagnosed with the disease in 2017… gone into remission… and then was forced into emergency surgery this past November after the illness returned. Wrote Duane as sad confirmation of her passing last week : “It’s 5:32 in Hawaii. This is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.” The famous bounty hunter than spoke to reporters and opened up even more about the loss of his wife. “I loved her so much,” Chapman told these journalists shortly after his wife’s death, adding: “As Lazarus lay, Jesus said he’s not dead, he’s sleepeth. My final words are Beth isn’t dead, she’s sleeping… “I hope to god there is a God. I trained myself [to think] ‘What would Jesus do?’ and I hope I’m not just talking to myself. I hope there is a God and if there is, I’m gonna see my honey again. “That’s all we can do is hope.” As for other details of this upcoming memorial? Fans will be able to share their own memories – from photos to videos to simple thoughts and condolences – by sending them to Richard Moore, a member of Duane “Dog” Chapman’s media team. His email is: richard@dogthebountyhunter.com. Three of Beth’s children — Bonnie Jo Chapman, Cecily Chapman and Lyssa Chapman – spoke out after the first memorial service, expressing their sadness and sorrow and thanking supporters for their well wishes. Bonnie, for instance, wrote in an Instagram Story update: “Thank you, everyone, who came today. She’d love the ceremony and the flowers everyone brought. Thank you for joining us on this emotional ride.” Lyssa also shared a message about the service. “Someone wake me up from this awful dream,” she wrote. “I have no words. Still in disbelief. Pray for our family, as we lost our strongest member.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam

Vicki Gunvalson: Not Even Meghan King Edmonds Deserves to Be Cheated On!

Former The Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds is enduring her husband Jim Edmonds’ ugly cheating scandal . Meghan opened up about her feelings, and her former castmates are sending their sympathies. Even Vicki Gunvalson feels for her — despite having once predicted the collapse of the Edmonds marriage. On Friday, Meghan spoke out about her husband’s affair, confirming everything despite his denials. “I’m sad,” she tweeted alongside a link. “I’ve written about it in my blog.” “I’m so sorry,” Vicki Gunvalson wrote in response. “You are right, YOU did not deserve this.” Some were surprised to see such a heartfelt and sympathetic message from Vicki. After all, this is the woman who once predicted to Meghan’s face that her marriage was doomed to not last very long. Meghan joked about passing Vicki’s predicted threshold a couple of years ago, and Vicki shared that she had retracted her assessment. As we reported on Saturday, Meghan King Edmonds no longer trusts her husband . This isn’t tabloid speculation — she said as much in her own words. “I found out the same way you guys did: in the tabloids,” Meghan revealed on her blog. “I never left a voicemail for the other woman,” she shared. “I called Jimmy and he confessed to me that he had exchanged lewd photos with this woman over the course of several months,” Meghan wrote. “And,” she added, Jim told her that “a physical relationship never existed.” Meghan writes that Jim told her that “He paid her off to protect me so I’d never find out.” “Do I believe him?” she asks. “I don’t know. Because I don’t trust him anymore.” “Physical or not, he still had an affair,” Meghan explains. “And he admits this to me.” “I refuse to be humiliated by this,” she affirms. “I did nothing wrong, I don’t deserve this,” Meghan correctly writes. “I did nothing except be pregnant with our twins,” she reasons. “And try to have a healthy pregnancy.” “So what is so broken in him to propel him to do this to me? To us?” Meghan asks. “It wasn’t one mistake,” she characteriszes “One lapse in judgement.” “I saw the texts – each one represents his decision to throw our marriage in the trash,” she writes. “Why did he self-sabotage?” Meghan asks. “And who sends nudies?” It’s not clear if she’s correctly shaming people for sending nudes while married, or incorrectly shaming people for sending nudes period. (For the record, they’re called nudes , not nudies , and almost everyone on the planet sends them) “Doesn’t everyone know better than this in 2019?” Meghan asks. “What drives someone to self-destruct in such a way?” “And all of this could not have come at a worse time,” Meghan writes. “Again, something I wasn’t ready to share but here I am sharing it,” she adds. Meghan announces: “we are worried our son, Hart, might have a neurological disorder.” “It’s been the most trying last couple months of my entire life and we still don’t have answers,” Meghan laments. “Sometimes I leave the house after the kids go to bed so I can drive around and ugly cry in the dark with no one around,” she confesses. “Now I have this to deal with,” Meghan bemoans. “My one true love betraying me in the most disgusting and public way possible.” “I do not fault any other person except my husband,” she emphasizes. “There are so many people out there with bad intentions.” “And it’s our responsibility to ignore and rise above,” Meghan correctly states. “One slimy person doesn’t make another person cheat.” In other words, she’s not pushing any “homewrecker” BS. “Ultimately,” Meghan expresses in her blog post. “I have hope our marriage can recover.” Vicki wasn’t the only former castmate to send Meghan well wishes. “Healing takes time,” Tamra Judge writes. “My heart hurts for you Meg. Wish I could give you a big hug.” “Thinking of you Meg. Love you,” comments Lizzie Rovsek. Gretchen Rossi expresses: “I’m so sorry you are going through this. Sending you all healing prayers.” We, too, wish Meghan and her children the absolute best. View Slideshow: 24 Stars Who Have Been Cheated On

Luke Parker is the Worst in Disturbing New Bachelorette Promo

If you've read The Bachelorette spoilers this season, you know that Luke Parker has had a target on his back for some time. Based on the revealing trailer featured here, however, it's apparent that the villainous front-runner isn't going away quietly. If you watched last night's  episode of The Bachelorette , you know that Parker (somehow) remains in the running for Brown's heart. As we've been hearing about for weeks, Parker may very well end up getting sent home from the series because he basically thinks Hannah is his property. To what extent? To the extent that he sex-shames her for getting close with other men, that's for darn sure. This rumor had merely been included in an influx of  Bachelorette spoilers that we had read, but now you can see it play out for yourself. In this newly-released super trailer, Hannah is clearly set to have a good time with as many guys as she can. Which is pretty much why ones signs on to be The Bachelorette, right? Tyler appears to be giving her a full-body massage with his own body in one scene, while we also see her kissing Peter in a cave. There's a hot tub glimpse and some smooches for Mike and this line from Hannah to an unknown suitor: I want to be physical with him. But I don't want to just have sex. I want to like, love you in every way. Elsewhere, Hannah sings about how she's “gonna get down…in the fantasy suites.” How does Luke feel about this? How does he feel about Brown apparently going NAKED BUNGEE JUMPING with Garrett? “That’s like a slap in the face from her and from Garrett,” the import/export manager says. “I want to make sure that she’s not sleeping around. I don’t think she would ever do that, but I’ve got to make sure.” Ummm, GROSS, right? Just a totally gross thing for Luke to say about a woman who has every right to do whatever she pleases with her body. Luke then brings up the subject during a one-on-one dinner with Hannah. “So let’s talk about sex and how the marriage bed should be kept pure,” he actually says to her. “And let’s say you have had sex with one or multiple of these guys. I would be wanting to go home.” Thankfully, Hannah basically responds by packing Parker's bag for him.   “I don’t owe you anything,” she says angrily, adding: “My husband would never say what you’ve said to me.” Miss Alabama 2018 continues to spell it out for Luke as plain as she can: “I have had sex, and honestly, Jesus still loves me And we now love her even more for putting Luke in his place. Check out the extended preview here and then join us in standing up to cheer Hannah with every fiber of our being.

Karrueche Gets Candid On What It Took To Escape Her Past And Become An Actress

Read the original:

Source: Xilla Valentine / Xilla Valentine I sat down with Karrueche to discuss the new season of her hit show on TNT Claws . During our conversation, Karrueche opened up about people underestimating the show and her. “It was great for people to see me on a new level where I was taken seriously. Before I’ve done independent films and low budget. Which is still great and part of my journey as an actor, but for this from season one to now has been very empowering.” Jenn Lyon who also stars on Claws chimed in to remind us that until now she has always been attached to someone else as someone else’s girlfriend or a social media influencer. “Now she stands on her own,” Jenn said After that, Karrueche opened up about a pivotal turning point in her life and what it took for her to make a name for herself in order to make it on her own. Karrueche says, “It was tough because I hit a moment in my life where literally, I was like WTF am I going to do? What am I going to do? I thought I used to work at a boutique in LA on Robertson, I was a personal assistant, I worked at Nordstrom for 3 or 4 years before that… Am I going to have to go back to retail?” Then she remembered she had a large following on social media and contemplated ways to capitalize off of the notoriety. “I have this platform of a million or so followers at the time, that kind of means something but what can I do? But also what can I also do that last, that has longevity? That means something? That has substance not just fit tea.” Adding “that’s not to shade to people who make their money off that just not me. That’s just not what I want to promote.” Karrueche goes on to explain how she got offered spots on multiple reality shows but turned them down because that’s not what she wanted to do with her life. She decided to take up acting and she admits it wasn’t an easy journey. “It was hard, even when I started my acting career, Jesus Christ it took some time. I went on so many auditions, at one point my agency was like so you haven’t booked anything are you sure this is what you want to do? I was like fuck! This sucks, but it was a real question I had to ask myself and I had this tiny little voice in the back of my head that said don’t give up, don’t give up… So I told my manager that I’m going to stick through this. I’m going to do it. I’m going to continue to just work hard and eventually I made my way but it’s a tough journey.” After hearing she was good but just too green she finally landed Claws after doing some low budget indie films that helped lay the foundation for the success that she’s having now. Claws one of the top shows on TNT and won a couple of NAACP Image Awards. Catch new episodes Sundays on TNT.

Kirk Franklin: Being A ‘Booty Call Christian’ Won’t Lead You To Your Purpose

Follow this link:

Source: Astrid Stawiarz / Getty Kirk Franklin doesn’t dwell on how others perceive him. He is here to walk in his purpose and be of service, which means creating music that uplifts and guides his listeners. He is a conduit and remains so by staying connected to God. The minister of music is promoting his latest album Long Live Love that features the debut single OK. Franklin’s love for God developed a young age and because of that, it is deeply rooted in gospel grounds. ‘If you only make Jesus, this spare tire, this Sunday buffet and you only make him a Christmas holiday, your roots never go to go deep,” Franklin says confidently in a candid chat. “And when they don’t go deep, you go to college, you forget. You get older, you forget. You go through these seasons of life where it just wears off because the roots never went deep.” Even when he faced trials and tribulations, he’d seek his savior to correct his mistakes and work on his flaws. He attributes his sincere love to the fact he didn’t have a father growing up and how the Father became his “dad.” “I felt the need to have that Him and I couldn’t find it in my community, I couldn’t find it at church. So it was kind of there in my spiritual walk and my faith walk. And so that has kept me where my appetite is just as hungry now as it was when I was 15.” The power of the word and sounds of gospel are the ultimate healing tools. Though his music has revolutionized the gospel genre, he humbly reframes from taking the credit for it. “I was raised around people that do what I do every day. So what I did was not unique for me.” Franklin, however, credits his ability as a songwriter as the gift from God that helped him shift the culture. “In gospel music, there are many people who do what I do. I really think that it was to get the songwriting, they kind of made it do this.” The 12-time Grammy award winning artist is simply “speaking what was put inside of him.” That voice inside him speaks to his purpose in life. Franklin believes anyone can find their purpose, but being a part-time Christian won’t guide you there. “We give God a big hug and kiss for the gift and they close the door and say, I got it from here. In finding Christ, I find the purpose of my life, I am able to unlock all of the doors of my spirit and the doors of my God given reason for breathing. And it’s already there. But if I’m a booty call Christian, if I’m a spare tire Christian, the jump-off Jesus dude, I’m never going to be able to tap into bikes that are already made for me, I’m going to be spend the rest of my life, putting together pieces.” Putting the pieces together can ultimately lead to healing by the grace of God and Franklin believes in giving people that space and time to heal. When asked about his friend and collaborator Kanye West’s “Sunday Service,” Franklin thinks adding merchandise to the experience was a “mistep.” But thinks we should let people heal. “I think the merchandise thing, I’m split on if that was him or his team, because you can have people around you that don’t always share the same heartbeat on how deep something is for you. What I see in Kanye and in my conversation with Kanye, this is part of his healing. This is part of the medicine. This is part of his strategy. Let the man heal. The T-Shirts and different things are what they are. But the fact that this music has the power to heal people’s soul. That’s exactly what it is. Yeah. So this is let the man heal.” Long Live Love is available now. RELATED STORIES: Kirk Franklin Finally Makes Peace With Biological Father Who Gave Him Up For Adoption Not The One!
