9-Year-Old Girl Shot While Doing Homework In Bed Another tragedy has stricken Ferguson, MO . Right on the heels of unrest in the city at the one-year-anniversary mark of the death of Mike Brown, a little girl has been shot while insider her home doing homework. Via MailOnline : A nine-year-old girl has been shot dead in Missouri as she lay doing her homework on her mom’s bed. Jamyla Bolden, of Ferguson, was killed on Tuesday after a gunman opened fire on the family’s home. Her father, James Bolden, issued a heart-breaking plea for anyone with information to come forward, as police have released no information about possible leads and no arrests have yet been made. ‘Don’t just do it for me. Do it for her. Do it for a nine-year-old child that didn’t even get to see the rest of the world,’ he told local news channel KMOV. ‘I never in a million years thought that I’d be laying my daughter to rest.’ Police believe the shooter fired from close range into the house, also wounding Jamyla’s 34-year-old mother in the leg. It is believed the gunman stood close to the front of the house before opening fire through the bedroom window. So sad!! SMH. Hopefully they can catch whoever did this…

While Jenelle’s husband, Courtland Rogers, sits in jail (he’s unable to post bail), it turns out Nathan has been in the local courthouse many times too. Nathan Griffith , 25, has had one traffic case, one common pleas case and two civil cases against him, indicating that he may have financial problems. A $5,005.82 judgment was entered against him in April, and just one month before he bought a house with Jenelle, he was evicted from his place. According to Horry County court records in South Carolina, Nathan’s landlord entered a plea to have him evicted and it was granted on May 20. Jenelle Evans purchased a new $135,000 house in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina so she and her boyfriend of several months could move in together. “Jenelle got a house with Nathan and she’s really happy about it,” a source said, but “it’s suspicious timing that Nathan has all these money problems.” “He’s already under attack for being called a ‘deadbeat dad‘ for child support stuff, so it’s clear Jenelle has expectations when it comes to the men she dates.” We’re guessing there’s a word (“low”) missing from that Radar quote ? Either way, Nathan also had a traffic violation in 2012 when he was charged for driving without a license, so it looks like the two have a lot in common! Griffith, a model, recently shot down rumors that he is gay, saying sodomy is against his religion . He has yet to address his fiscal problems on Twitter. How long do you think these two will last?

After two weeks of prosecution testimony in the high-profile, closely-watched trial of George Zimmerman, the defense is now going to present its case. At issue is whether Zimmerman, 29, acted in self-defense when he shot and killed unarmed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin on February 26, 2012. Friday, the prosecution rested with testimony from Trayvon’s mother and brother, who testified that it was Martin’s voice calling for help on the 911 call. Not all of the state’s witnesses were as compelling, however. In fact, some analysts believed the police may have helped the defense instead . As the defense makes its own case, the million-dollar question is whether Zimmerman himself will take the stand, though we may not know for days.
