Just days ago, 90 Day Fiance star Larissa Lima underwent a glow-up , promising a dramatic beauty makeover. At the time, she hid her new face from fans, promising to show it off to followers who “stay tuned.” Now, Larissa has unveiled her triumphant new look! See it for yourself: Larissa Lima shared a series of videos with her fans and followers. “Hello guys!” Larissa's first video begins. “New life, new hair!” she happily proclaims. She's showing off a new, fresher hairstyle that is really working for her. It even looks like her hair, which was always thick, is more full-bodied. It's great. “I love it,” she affirms. Larissa continues on a more personal note, addressing her supporters. “I would like to say that I'm truly thankful,” Larissa begins. She continues: “for having a lot of followers that supported me.” Her followers give her social media clout and even donated to her GoFundMe to help her with expenses. “And,” Larissa concludes, her followers “give me a lot of good advice.” Larissa then shared another video in which she delivered the same message in Portuguese. Larissa's third video features her again, in different lighting. On the screen, the words “Kill that lightee” appear. “I just would like to show you guys that my foundation is still good,” Larissa says under the new lighting. “That light — that light — made up-up all of the brightness,” she accuses. Larissa then winks and blows a kiss at her fans and followers. So now comes the tricky part: what has changed on her face? We have to say that her face looks so similar to her usual self that, at first, we didn't notice much of anything. Larissa has never really had thin lips, and her cheekbones have always been fairly prominent. But we think — and makeup and lighting could definitely be factors here — that her upper lip looks a little fuller these days. Now, maybe we're just assuming because we so recently saw the photo of Larissa staring down a syringe. But maybe she got lip fillers in her upper lip. Did Larissa get more done to her lower lip, or any other fillers? We're not sure. Given the level of transparency that she has been willing to show, we imagine that she'll answer that sooner or later. In the mean time, she's definitely not upgrading her look in order to land a new man, despite what she'd joked in her initial post. Why? Because she already has one. Larissa already has a young, hot boy-toy just a little over a month after her brutal breakup with Colt. She has not revealed his name, but he is of Italian ancestry and he is 26 years old. She says that her new man is not interested in fame and that he's not big on social media in general. (Opposites attract, we suppose) However, Larissa has revealed that at least some of her fans will get to see him. She says that her mystery boy will be at her divorce party at the beginning of March.
Sean Milliken, a former cast member on the long-running reality show, My 600-Lb. Life died on February 17 due to complications from an infection. He was 29 years old. This sad piece of news was confirmed by Sean’s father via an emotional Facebook post. “Sean was admitted into the hospital a couple days prior, because of an infection,” Matt Milliken wrote, adding in further detail: “Sunday he was having problems with his breathing, they were able to resuscitate him and a short time later his heart stopped.” The heartbroken father described his son as a “good man” with a “good heart” in this same message. According to Radar Online, Milliken was living in Texas in an apartment by himself prior to his death. His friend, Ashley Boone, told this celebrity gossip site that Sean would be remembered as a “special” guy,” adding: “He was definitely a loner and kept to himself but once you knew him he opened up and showed his witty side. He was extremely funny, artistic and kind.” Milliken appeared on one episode of My 600-lb Life back in 2016. The episode chronicled how he became bedridden during his senior year of high school after he grew to be over 400 pounds and suffered a debilitating leg injury. At one point, Milliken weighed as much as 900 pounds. The same year he appeared on this reality program, Milliken told People Magazine he was planning on moving to Houston to see if he could qualify for weight loss surgery. It’s unclear at the moment whether he ever followed up on this plan or went under the knife for any type of gastric bypass procedure. “I’m not 100 percent certain this is the right decision to make,” Sean said in a clip from the show, referring to his move. “I am extremely nervous about this trip. It’s going to take anywhere from 30 to 40 hours to drive there. I’m very worried about that. If I fall, we won’t be near the hospital for people to pick me up.” Sean also explained during his brief stint in the spotlight that he started his weight gain as a result of his rough relationship with his father. “It was scary. So I would eat. And suddenly I felt a lot better,” he said. “In that moment, nothing else mattered. … I felt like it was my fault, I felt like my family had fallen apart because of me. “So I kept going to food to deal with those feelings. I would get out of school and my mom would be at work, so I would just come home and go straight to the fridge. I’d eat everything and anything I could get my hands on. I “I started gaining probably 50 pounds. a year, and by the time I was in high school I was over 400 pounds.” Milliken is only the latest former star of My 600-lb Life to pass away. This isn’t really surprising, considering the health problems of those on whom this series chooses to focus. In August of 2018, James “L.B.” Bonner committed suicide . Just a few weeks later, Lisa Fleming also died . May they all rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam
Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy was a real tear-jerker. Picking up in the immediate aftermath of Betty revealing she’s more of a Brittany and has been hiding from her parents, Owen and Amelia realized they needed to help out somehow. Unfortunately for Betty, her parents showed up at the hospital. Amelia was the one to break the news about Leo. The issue this presented was that Amelia and Owen were the ones caring for the child. The good news was that Amelia was on hand to open up about her own struggles with addiction to Betty’s mother. “I’m an addict, too. I did all of that. I ran away, I lied, I broke my mother’s heart over and over again,” Amelia said, adding: “When I got clean, she was the last person I wanted to see. The shame was too great. I’m sure you’re a good mom, and I promise you, your little girl is still in there.” The big mistake on Amelia’s part was that Betty’s parents decided to use that against Amelia and Owen, branding Amelia, “another drug addict.” Amelia’s actions did not sit well with Owen, either, because it meant that Betty’s parents were likely going to secure custody of the child. Meanwhile, Bailey started to grow concerned about her future at the hospital, especially after Alex started to get a lot of recognition for his interim role. It all came to a head when Alex’s photo was put up on the wall, and Bailey decided it was time for herself to be the one in charge again. In a truly shocking scene, Alex admitted that he was not going to let Bailey have the job back just yet. “I kicked this job’s ass, just like Weber told me to,” Alex said, confirming that he would be keeping the job until his six-month contract was up. In the end, it gave Bailey the urge to say that she was proud of him. Alex has stood up for himself ever since he walked through the front door of the hospital. He’s killing it at the job, so why should he end it so soon? Then there was Meredith, who was on the DeLuca train, but had a big problem: Maggie once dated the same man, so Meredith wanted her sister’s seal of approval before going full steam ahead. “He’s a good guy. I don’t think he’s ever not a good guy. He’s got your back,” Maggie ultimately said to Meredith. This came after Maggie had to perform surgery on someone who bullied her in med school. Meredith assisted her with the surgery, but it was clear the patient had a profound effect on Maggie’s time gearing up to be a doctor. What are your thoughts on all the action? That was when Det. Simonsen was shot. His fellow officers put him in a marked police car and transported him [to the hospital]. The trauma staff did their best to try to save him, and we thank them for that. They were unable to do so.” Unfortunately, Simonsen wasn’t the only officer hit during the robbery. Sergeant Matthew Gorman was shot in the leg and taken to a nearby hospital to recover. Christopher Ransom, the 27 year old suspect, was shot multiple times and is currently in critical condition at New York-Presbyterian Queens hospital. Prayers to the families.

Source: Prince Williams/WireImage / Getty Fetty Wap And Alexis Skyy’s Daughter Needed Brain Surgery Our prayers go out to Fetty Wap and Alexis Skky as well as their 1-year-old daughter Alaiya, who underwent emergency brain surgery this weekend according to TMZ reports. TMZ sources say Alexis noticed something was wrong with Alaiya during a flight from Atlanta to New York when she began excessively vomiting. Skyy took the baby to the hospital where she was whisked into emergency surgery to repair a malfunctioning implant in her brain that helps drain blood and fluids. You guys may recall Alaiya was born 3 months premature. She suffers from hydrocephalus, which causes bleeding and fluid in the brain. The surgery is said to have been successful and Alaiya is reportedly recovering with both Fetty and Alexis by her side. Our hearts go out to them. We’re so glad to hear the operation went well and hope that her health continues to improve.
Ashley Martson is back at home after a very serious health scare. As previously reported, the 90 Day Fiance star was found unresponsive at her home a week ago, prompting an emergency hospital visit due to her kidneys failing. This was a result of Martson having been diagnosed with Lupus, an auto-immune disease that can damage various parts of the body. (Selena Gomez, for example, also suffers from Lupus and actually underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 as a result.) On Saturday, however, Martson provided fans with an update on her condition, confirming she was resting comfortably at home and thanking anyone who donated to her GoFundMe campaign. (As of this writing, the campaign, meant to cover Ashley’s “unexpected medical costs and loss of income,” had raised $3,860.) “I am so thankful for your help and kind hearts,” the reality star wrote on Instagram over the weekend, continuing as follows: “You guys are truly a blessing and I will forever be grateful for each of you. All the cards and care packages sent made me smile and tear up at the same time. “Sometimes I loose [sic] faith in humanity but you all reminded me that there still is kind and compassionate people in this world. “Thank you again from the Bottom of my heart.” Concluded Martson in this message: I will continue to be open about my battle with lupus and if you don’t like it or feel I’m seeking attention then kindly unfollow. This disease is horrible and I want everyone that is going through it to know they’re not alone. Martson, who previously was in the news because her husband admitted to cheating on her as soon as the couple got married, originally broke the news of her hospitalization via a photo of herself in very bad shape. She was open and honest at the time by writing: I’m sorry if this photo offends anyone but I will not hide that I’m sick. If I can help one person with lupus then posting this is worth it. I was found unresponsive this morning at my home. The Ambulance took me to the hospital where it was found that I am in acute kidney failure due to lupus. I will begin dialysis shortly. I will not let this beat me. I know I’m strong enough to battle through this, not just for myself but for my kids. I will be transferred to another hospital this evening that is better equipped. Please pray for myself and my family as I know it’s going to be a very tough road ahead for all of us. Thank you for your continuous support and prayers Despite her recent operation, though, the TLC personality is determined to live her regular life again. “Finding the strength to get out of bed and get to my daughters game is rough,” she wrote on Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 20. “I will not miss her game no matter what!” Will Martson need to undergo a kidney transplant at some point? It’s possible. For now, she simply went through dialysis in the hopes this procedure would help the kidneys repair themselves. Jay Smith, who has definitely been disloyal to his wife and who appears to suck in most aspects of life, did rush to be by her side in the hospital, however. He also publicized this effort. “I may have hurt you. I may have not been a good husband. Jumping on a plane the second I found out you was in the hospital was something I didn’t even think twice to do,” Smth wrote on social media last week, adding: “We have our differences but as long as I have life I will never let you sit alone and suffer. I love you and nothing will ever change that. Thank you for having me here to support you.” We wish Ashley Martson the best. View Slideshow: 90 Day Fiance: Most Shocking Scandals Exposed!
Source: icon sportswire / Getty It’s a sad day at at UC Berkeley after one of their star football players passed away. 19-year old Bryce Turner died on Saturday following a ‘medical emergency’ during a non-team workout last week. Reports say that the sophomore cornerback was hospitalized near his Lakewood, California home on December 30, but neither his family or UC Berkeley has disclosed his cause of death. Sources say that Turner collapsed and fell into a coma while he was in the hospital. Cal athletic director Jim Knowlton did release a statement, saying, “No words can accurately describe the pain we feel in our hearts right now. We’ll always remember Bryce and how he impacted all of us with Cal football.” Today, we lost a beloved member of our #CalFamily . Rest in Peace Bryce Turner. You'll be forever in our hearts. pic.twitter.com/j8xCObyhCb — Cal Football (@CalFootball) January 6, 2019 Turner’s former teammates also took to social media to express their grief. Rest in peace to the young king. Prayers up for the Turner family.
Back in July, Demi Lovato had a drug overdose. It was really a very scary time. We still don’t know every single detail of what happened, but we do know that she was found unconscious in her home , and that she was rushed to the hospital where she spent several days recuperating. At first, reports alleged that she’d overdosed on heroin, but other outlets insisted that wasn’t the case. One woman, a nurse who claimed she treated Demi, insisted that her problem was methamphetamines. We do know that she was given Narcan , a drug used to block the affects of opioids, when paramedics showed up at her home. That, along with reports that track marks were seen on her arms at the hospital, makes it sound like she really could have been doing heroin. When she left the hospital, she went straight to rehab , and she stayed there until November. After that, she reportedly began dating a designer named Henry Levy — they were photographed kissing earlier this month . A lot of people think that this relationship isn’t the best idea, since it’s often advised that addicts avoid new relationships in the early days of recovery. Also because Henry is an addict himself, and word is that Demi even met him in rehab. It’s just a sticky situation, and according to a report from last week, “she has not been keeping up with her recovery commitments and seems to be falling back into her dangerous old L.A. lifestyle” since getting with Henry. It doesn’t sound good, right? But last night, Demi herself hopped on Twitter to set the record straight. And she’s obviously not happy about the things being said about her. “I love my fans,” she began, “and hate tabloids. Don’t believe what you read.” “People will literally make up stuff to sell a story. Sickening.” She continued by saying that “If I feel like the world needs to know something, I will tell them MYSELF.” “Otherwise people stop writing about my recovery, because it’s no one’s business but mine.” “I am sober and grateful to be alive and taking care of ME,” she insisted. Demi did say that “someday I’ll tell the world what exactly happened, why it happened and what my life is like today,” but she’s simply not ready to do that right now. “Until I’m ready to share that with people please stop prying and making up sh-t that you know nothing about. I still need space and time to heal.” She also wrote that the people selling these stories about her aren’t actually close to her at all, “because most of the sh-t I see is soooooo inaccurate.” “I would love to set the record straight on all the rumors out there but I literally don’t owe anyone anything so I’m not going to,” she said. “All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support.” She finished her rant by tweeting that she’s “so blessed I get to take this time to be with family, relax, work on my mind, body and soul and come back when I’m ready.” “I have my fans to thank for that. I’m so grateful, truly. I love you guys so f-cking much.” So … OK. She’s absolutely right in that she doesn’t owe it to anyone to give the details on what happened with her relapse and her overdose. It’s great that she feels comfortable taking a break to get herself back together, and she should stay out of the spotlight until she’s truly ready to come back. But Twitter ranting is rarely the sign of a truly healthy, happy person, you know? If Demi is really so happy — and we honestly hope she is — then we’d just hope that she wouldn’t feel the need to go off like this on social media. Just live your life, girl, please. Your fans will definitely stand by you, no matter what. View Slideshow: Demi Lovato: Everything We Know About Her Overdose So Far
