Without sharing many details, she hit Instagram with an update on herself and her “golden child.” She wrote on Thursday night: “I’m FINALLY back home and doing much better. The baby has been PERFECTLY fine since being born Dec. 14th and I’m resting & recovering at home. (Pap is VERY happy, on cloud 9,999 )” She also thanked her loved ones and fans for all of the prayers, plus the team of doctors and security who made sure her family was OK throughout it all: “Thank you to all of our family, friends, and loved ones who reached out- Sorry for not responding to texts and/or calls – I physically was not able to and my husband @papoosepapoose was concerned & worried about me all while looking after our “Golden Child”. Also, thank you to all the fans who sent their love and prayers We would also like to thank the ENTIRE staff at the hospital (doctors, nurses, aides, even the housekeeping) as well as the AMAZING security team ; not only did you all make sure my family was well taken care of but everyone was very professional and extremely respectful & protective of our privacy; we truly appreciate it – with love, The Mackies” In case you missed it , Remy Ma was rushed back to the hospital after giving birth due to excessive bleeding. She reportedly had blood transfusions while on the operating table. We’re glad Remy and her baby girl are in good health.
Source: Nomad / Getty 68-year old grandfather, William Hannah , has died after Salford Royal Hospital in the U.K. mistakingly filled his lungs with cleaning detergent instead of saline. The Hannah family’s lawyer told PEOPLE , During the procedure the doctor found there was no saline solution in the equipment trolley and so asked a healthcare assistant to pass this to him. However, the assistant became confused and instead of providing the doctor with the requested saline, accidentally handed him an unlabelled bottle containing detergent that they had prepared for cleaning equipment. The doctor then unknowingly used the cleaning solution to wash-out William’s lung. Following an internal investigation into the wrongful death, the Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust concluded that the hospital did not deliver the “high standard of care” and offered its apologies to the family. Hearings for the case begin in February 2019. SMH, so sad.
An active shooter went on a rampage inside a Chicago hospital on Monday evening, ultimately killing four and injuring an undetermined amount of others. According to ABC 7 , three people were murdered in the shooting, including the ER doctor that had previously been engaged to the shooter, a Chicago police officer, and a pharmaceutical worker at Mercy Hospital on the South Side of Chicago. The shooter was also killed by police gunfire. The gunman has been identified as 32-year-old Juan Lopez. His shooting spree began in the hospital’s parking lot, as he confronted Dr. Tamara O’Neal, the woman he had been engaged to that broke things off with him last September. There is no word on why the shooter entered the hospital and opened fire after killing his ex outside, but we will continue to monitor this story for further information. Also among those killed was officer Samuel Jiminez and 25-year-old pharmaceutical resident Dayna Less, who was also engaged and planning to travel back to her home of Indiana tomorrow for the Thanksgiving holiday. Seeing Amy Schumer in the hospital brings me great hope that she ends finally being punished for being the worst. I do not wish death on people, it is bad karma, and I don’t usually care to hope for someone to die.. (Photo Credit: PR Photos) Georgia voters received a racist robocall targeting the state’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams , according to a report by CNN . The call features a voice impersonating Oprah Winfrey , who appeared on the campaign trail Thursday (Nov. 1) in support of Abrams. In about a 60-second pre-recorded message, racist and anti-Semitic rhetoric is used to mock the media titan and attack Abrams. The message was created by a white supremacist group called The Road to Power, CNN reported. The group is known for anti-Semitic video podcasts. It previously attacked Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum after he won the nomination in the August primary and again in October. According to the report, it is unknown how many voters received this call. (Creatas Images) A California high school teacher was arrested after video surfaced of him allegedly punching one of his students who used a racial slur, CBS Los Angeles reports . Marston Riley, 64, was released November 3 from the Los Angeles County Jail after posting $50,000 bail, according to reports. Cellphone video showed the student taunting Riley, calling him the N-word and cursing at him. Riley was clearly growing more frustrated and then he began repeatedly hitting the student, and at one point, using an object to hit him. The student was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries and released, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The student responded with racist comments. “It was just back and forth, back and forth, and then the teacher just decided to throw a punch and that’s when everything happened,” the witness said. A GoFundMe page has been created by the teacher’s supporters to raise money for his legal fees. They say he’s been physically or verbally attacked in the past. Source: Mitch Haaseth / Getty Tonight’s episode of How to Get Away With Murder is heavy. HEAVY . But the heaviness doesn’t hit until the end, and out of nowhere. Buckle up. We start the episode with Bonnie at her sister Julie’s place. Julie isn’t too thrilled to see her. It’s clear that they trigger each other. However, Julie invites Bonnie in and Bonnie meets her niece (who is a little girl). At the same time this is going on we hear Annalise explaining to Frank that Bonnie reverts back to that abused little girl when she’s around her sister so this isn’t good for her. Speaking of Annalise, she meets with the governor who seems to be trying to make a truce. The gov explains that she has been adversarial toward Annalise because she hates losing, but she took a step back, did some soul searching and prayer, and wants to work with Annalise now. The deal is, Annalise can spearhead the Fair Defense Project where she allocates state funds to cases, and draft a bill to work toward getting people out of jail and reducing Pennsylvania’s prison population by 50%. This sounds great but we all know Annalise trusts no one, especially the governor, and this means she’d have to leave Caplan and Gold, so she really has to think about this. Annalise’s boss, Emmett, is obviously pissed when he learns the news and does what he can to convince her not to take the deal. He even finds a clause that says the state funds would be contingent upon whatever quota Annalise can meet, meaning, the more people that get off means the more money she’ll get. Gotta read the fine print! We all know Annalise was going to, but Emmett is a desperate man so he beats her to it. Annalise calls the governor and asks for a set budget instead of this quota situation and an immediate pardon for Nate Sr.who’s still in jail despite his charges being dropped because the mental health facility he’s supposed to move to has a long waiting list. Messed up much? The governor says she can check with her people about the budget but the Nate Sr situation is something she has to think about. Back to Bonnie. Bonnie wants answers, so Julie explains that their father told the nurse that Julie was the baby’s mother so they let her take the baby from the hospital. Then, once they got home their father took the baby somewhere unknown. Their mom believes the baby was sold. Dad told Julie that he’d kill her if she ever told anyone. Bonnie calls Annalise who tells her not to believe that story and not to get sucked back in. Annalise wants Bonnie to come back to Philly, Bonnie wants to stay and torture herself (and snoop around), so Annalise dispatches Frank to do what he does best–stalking. It turns out that Julie goes to drug counseling meetings (like AA) so Frank has infiltrated and he managed to record. At one meeting, we hear Julie explain that she’s protecting Bonnie by hiding things from her because if she knew the truth it would kill her. Emmett takes another crack at convincing Annalise to stay at Caplan and Gold and she decides to stay, but then she gets a call from the governor. The gov claims she’s an ally and that she’ll free Nate Sr if she takes the job. We all know Annalise won’t be turning that down. So, Emmett takes his L quietly because he understands that this is where Annalise’s heart is, and it’s a major job, but he’s obviously hurt and angry. Frank finds out that Bonnie’s son’s name is Jake and her dad probably did sell him to someone who lived 20 minutes away from them. Julie knew about this and even checked on him at one point but they called the cops on her. He shares all of this with Bonnie, of course. Bonnie confronts her sister and demands the truth. Julie claims that their dad was going to keep the baby home with them (and we all know how crappy that situation was), but jumped out of the car with the baby, on the way home from the hospital, ran into the woods and buried him. She promised Bonnie she’d protect him so that’s what she felt she did. THE NEXT GRAPH CONTAINS A SPOILER Annalise heads to Nate Jr’s house and gives him the good news. Then Nate gets a call from the prison saying there has been an incident and that’s when we cut to a dead Nate Sr on the ground. SO. MANY. QUESTIONS. And feels. SO. MANY. FEELS. In next week’s episode, we hear Annalise saying she got played. Was it Emmett? Was it the governor? WHO DID IT!!! OMG! Remy Ma Continues Being Problematic Revolt TV’s State Of The Culture Show isn’t quite what we expected. The debates are powerful, enthusiastic and as intense as we imagine. However, we didn’t quite expect so much problematic material to come out of Remy Ma’s mouth of all people. Joe Budden? Sure. But Remy? Not Remy. The MC has made it a point to defend trash men as often as possible, from Bill Cosby, now to R. Kelly. On the latest episode, Remy tried to defend Kelly by stating that there are plenty of teenagers who want to sleep with older men, that the women in Kelly’s compound aren’t complaining and, finally, that rapists don’t eat the groceries. Are you f**** serious? Isn’t this the same Remy who used pedophilia as a main attack point in her feud with Nicki Minaj? Sigh. Ken Redding/Getty Imags Man Says Dog Shot Him While Hunting A New Mexico man is making national headlines for his bizarre story. 74-year-old Sonny Gilligan claims that his dog Charlie almost killed him when he pulled the trigger on a rifle while they were hunting. Gilligan told The Sun-News that as he sat in the front seat of his pickup truck with Charlie and another dog in the back seat, Charlie’s paw got tangled in the trigger of one of his shotguns and it went off. “Charlie got his foot in the trigger of the gun and I leaned forward and he slipped off the seat and caught the trigger — and it shot,” Gilligan said, according to The Sun-News . “It was a freak accident but it’s true, that’s what happened.” The bullet went through Gilligan’s back, broke several of his ribs and shattered his collarbone. According to Gilligan he “passed to the other side” after being in critical condition but first responders brought him back. “I was very fortunate I could get to my phone,” Gilligan said. “The DASO (Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office) first-responders saved my life. If they waited 10 more minutes I would’ve died. I lost so much blood. I know I actually passed to the other side just before getting to the hospital but they were able to revive me through CPR and bring me back. I have so much appreciation to the doctors and first-responders who saved my life.” SHEESH, what would YOU do if your “good boy” accidentally shot you? Luckily for Charlie, his owner says all is forgiven.
Did anyone ever think that Jenelle Evans’ life would get as tragic as it’s gotten? Well, yeah. Pretty much from the first moment she was introduced to the world in her episode of 16 and Pregnant, it wasn’t hard to see that her life would likely go in a dark direction. But still, watching it all happen has been overwhelming . Jenelle has never had what anyone would call a perfect life, or even a nice life, really. Her father abandoned her family when she was a small child, and she’s always had problems getting along with her mother. She got pregnant at a young age by an older guy who pretended to be invested right up until the baby was born, then he disappeared. She gave us custody of the baby to her mom, got arrested a whole bunch of times, got addicted to heroin, had a string of abusive relationships. One guy got her pregnant again, but she had an abortion, only to get pregnant again shortly after that with a different guy. She had another kid, even though she never got back custody of the first one, and a couple of years after that, she had another kid with another new guy. And nope, still never got custody of that first one. So yeah, things have been always been sort of rough for this girl. But this month, things took a seriously bad turn . Everyone’s always been worried about David Eason and what he might do to her, because David Eason has clearly always been bad news. Ever since he first appeared on Teen Mom 2, fans have noticed all sorts of red flags about his relationship with Jenelle. Pair that up with all those stories about how he allegedly assaulted his exes, including the one who claimed in court documents that he shoved her to the ground when she was eight months pregnant with their son … Yeah, it’s not great. But earlier this month, a report was released that claimed that a 911 call had been made from Jenelle and David’s home, and that the caller had reported an assault . Jenelle Evans 911 Call Jenelle’s rep denied the report, saying that she’d just tripped and fallen by a bonfire. Then the actual call was released a few days later , and … well, it was very dark. It began with Jenelle sobbing hysterically and telling the operator that David “pinned me down on the ground in the yard, and I think I heard my f-cking collarbone crack and I can’t move my arms.” An ambulance was called but later cancelled, and someone took her to the hospital privately instead. After the call was released — which, to be clear, was truly disturbing and terrifying to hear — she released a statement herself. “It was a drunk and dramatic misunderstanding,” she claimed. ” Everything is great. We are totally fine .” “We are feeling fine,” she insisted. “Just taking time off social media … time to focus on ourselves and our family.” Yeah, because after the initial report was released, she deleted her Twitter and Facebook pages. Because that’s not scary. Since then, a Teen Mom 2 production source has claimed that Jenelle’s new story is that she did trip by that bonfire and when she fell, she fell into David. And since they were both so drunk, they thought they were assaulting each other. There are about a billion problems with that story — how were they that drunk with their boatload of children? Why would they think a trip was an assault? But the point is that they’re both still trying to convince us all that everything is fine. The latest example of this is this new photo that Jenelle shared on Instagram last night: “We love good food,” she captioned the picture, with the hashtags “dinner date,” “beard goals,” and “get silly.” It’s interesting to see that she’s still covering herself up much more than normal — perhaps to hide injuries from that bonfire fall? A quick look at her comments, however, shows that absolutely no one is buying what she’s trying to sell. “You are beautiful!” a kind follower told her. “Find a man who will treat u better girl.” Another sweet person wrote “You can try to fool the world but the real chaos will come up. Praying for you. Yikes.” “Are you waiting to be killed by him?” one person asked. “Stop fooling yourself. Think of your kids…. rooting for you. Hope you’ll find a way out.” Someone else said that Jenelle “trying to put on a front here that they are all lovie dovey” is “very very sad,” and yep, it really is. Most of her followers are being supportive like this right now, urging her to leave him or just offering prayers or wishing her well.
