Kelly and his legal team gear up to combat a new slate of sex tape footage , details of what appears on the tapes are emerging which triggered an alleged past victim to speak out. Lisa VanAllen, who allegedly appeared on the infamous first tape, says that the acts depicted on the new tapes sound similar to her ordeal. TMZ reports : Lisa VanAllen was on “TMZ Live” Wednesday, and she told us the descriptions of the new tapes are basically par for the course. Lisa was one of the 2 young women on the original R. Kelly sex tape, for which he went on trial, but was ultimately acquitted in 2008. She was 17 at the time that tape was recorded. … Lisa tells us everything R. Kelly allegedly does in the videos — coaching the teen through sex, choking her, calling out her age — sounds like the same Kelly she was dating. Four Dead, Several Others Injured As Gunman Opens Fire On Chicago Hospital, Killing His Ex-Fiancé Dr. Tasha O’Neal

An active shooter went on a rampage inside a Chicago hospital on Monday evening, ultimately killing four and injuring an undetermined amount of others. According to ABC 7 , three people were murdered in the shooting, including the ER doctor that had previously been engaged to the shooter, a Chicago police officer, and a pharmaceutical worker at Mercy Hospital on the South Side of Chicago. The shooter was also killed by police gunfire. The gunman has been identified as 32-year-old Juan Lopez. His shooting spree began in the hospital’s parking lot, as he confronted Dr. Tamara O’Neal, the woman he had been engaged to that broke things off with him last September. There is no word on why the shooter entered the hospital and opened fire after killing his ex outside, but we will continue to monitor this story for further information. Also among those killed was officer Samuel Jiminez and 25-year-old pharmaceutical resident Dayna Less, who was also engaged and planning to travel back to her home of Indiana tomorrow for the Thanksgiving holiday. A Word: 7 Tweets That Argue More Police Won’t Fix Chicago Violence

Source: Scott Olson / Getty This week Chicago has been in the headlines for having one of the most violent weekends this year. According to the Chicago Tribune , at least 74 people were shot between 3 p.m. on Friday, August 3 to 6 a.m. Monday morning. Twelve people were killed, while 62 were wounded and the ages ranged from 11 to 62 years old. Most of the shooting took place in the South and West sides of Chicago, and the police blamed gang members who shoot into summer crowds for the high shooting numbers. Now, as of Tuesday, police Superintendent  Eddie Johnson announced that several hundred more police officers will be deployed to neighborhoods plagued by shootings. Despite this move, there are many people on Twitter, ranging from activists to Chicago natives, that aren’t about putting more police on the streets. Considering Chicago’s history of police  corruption and divestment from vulnerable communities,  folks feel money can be much better used elsewhere. Many people even criticize mayor Rahm Emmanuel and a police department that seems more interested in setting up the community it serves, rather than deescalating violence.
