Source: Edward Berthelot / Getty Asap Bari Hit With Two Felonies For Pennsylvania Arrest A$AP Bari is going to have to face multiple charges, which includes two felonies in relation to his arrest last November in Palmer Township, Pennsylvania. In total, the designer has been charged with seven crimes, according to reports from TMZ on March 2. The most serious of these charges are possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver weed and criminal conspiracy to commit to possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. The various misdemeanors include possession of drug paraphernalia. Bari was first arrested on November 29 of last year when he got pulled over after police observed him driving his Mercedes the wrong way down a street. The police noticed a strong odor of marijuana when they approached his vehicle and during a search, authorities discovered over two dozen tins filled with weed and arrested Bari. The New York native insisted that his stash was only for personal use and was initially charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance, being released after posting a $25,000 bond. This latest news comes on the heels of him putting yet another another legal situation in his rear view. Back in January, ASAP Bari pleaded guilty to a charge he was facing in the United Kingdom. He was accused of sexual assault in July 2017 after a video surfaced that appears to show him demanding sex from a woman before slapping her on the butt and pleaded guilty to one count of sexual assault. He ended up avoiding any jail time and was ordered to pay a fine and be subject to a restraining order.

According to a CNN report customs officials found $13 million dollars worth of meth inside of a tractor trailer at Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge cargo facility in Texas. A 42-year-old Mexican driver was arrested. Authorities seized the tractor/trailer along with 906 pounds of methamphetamine (411 kg) that was worth about $12,700,000, CBP said. It’s unknown what made the border agents believe there was something sketchy about either the driver or the shipment, but when they referred the vehicle to further inspection, that’s when they discovered the 350 packages of drugs. “This was an outstanding interception our officers accomplished this weekend,” said Port Director David Gonzalez of Hidalgo/Pharr/Anzalduas Port of Entry. “Our officers’ astute sense of awareness and tenacity is unparalleled and truly commendable.” These strawberries were about to get some smoothie-drinker high as hell.

End Of A Era: Payless To Close All 2,100 Stores In The United States

The discount shoe store is set to close all 2,100 of its locations in the United States and Puerto Rico in the next few months. The liquidation sale began on Sunday and stores will be closing up shop in March, though most are set to stay open until May. Payless is also shutting down its online store. It could file for bankruptcy for a second time by the end of the month, according to reports. Founded back in 1956, Payless has more than 3,600 locations in 40 countries and over 18,000 employees, per its website. The international franchises and Latin American stores will not be affected by the closure. Payless first filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April of 2017, closing 400 stores in the process. It reorganized soon after, cutting millions of dollars in debt but it wasn’t enough to fully save the company. Source: Arturo Holmes / @ArtuGraphiq Grammy-nominated rapper 21 Savage may be deported. He was arrested in Atlanta early Sunday by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to CNN . The agency says he is illegally present in the United States. ICE says 21 Savage, whose real name is Shayaabin Abraham-Joseph, is a citizen of the United Kingdom. The agency alleges that he entered the US legally in July 2005, when he was a minor, but subsequently failed to depart under the terms of his nonimmigrant visa. ICE says the rapper became unlawfully present when his visa expired in July 2006. 21 was also convicted on felony drug charges in October 2014 in Fulton County, Georgia. Today, he was arrested in a targeted sting. “Mr. Abraham-Joseph is presently in ICE custody in Georgia and has been placed into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts,” ICE said in a statement. “ICE will now await the outcome of his case before a federal immigration judge to determine future actions.” 21 Savage’s team said his representatives were working to secure his release. “We are working diligently to get Mr. Abraham-Joseph out of detention while we work with the authorities to clear up any misunderstandings,” Dina LaPolt said in a statement to CNN . “Mr. Abraham-Joseph is a role model to the young people in this country, especially in Atlanta, Georgia, and is actively working in the community leading programs to help underprivileged youths in financial literacy.” 21 Savage is featured on the song “Rockstar” by Post Malone, which was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Rap Performance at the Grammys.

Racist Detroit Cop Mocks Black Woman on Social Media After Taking Her Car

So it’s 2019, and ain’t much changed. Let me take that back. It almost seems as if racist white people are feeling less inhibited to confine their racism. The public displays of despicable behavior haven’t stopped, and in fact it seems as if Mr. Trump’s takeover as president of the United States has emboldened some people who’ve been hiding these tenancies. Long story less long – race relations within the borders of this country are going backwards. It’s not shocking to see some of the things that we see. It’s just sad. Yesterday evening (1/31) a Detroit police officer named Gary Steele pulled over 23-year-old Ariel Moore for having an expired license. Her vehicle was ultimately apprehended, and even though it was freezing outside Moore reportedly refused a ride home from the officers, as she was just going around the block. This is where things got pretty sketchy. As Moore is walking away, one of the officers decided to take to his social media. He took video of the young woman and put it on his SnapChat, with captions like “What black girl magic really looks like” and “Celebrating Black History Month.” They say he also closed the clip by saying the phrase “Bye, Felicia”. Smh. How are we not passed this point? How is a person who’s sworn to protect and serve the community so willingly (I mean, he posted on the internet) allowed to maneuver in such a manner? According to the Detroit Police Department Steele has been reassigned while an investigation carries out. We’ll keep you posted.

And now, t he Oscar-nominated film will be returning to theaters for Black History Month with the added benefit of spreading news of a $1.5 million grant program from the United Negro College Fund. EW.com reports : One day after Black Panther won the top film prize at the SAG Awards, Disney announced that the Marvel blockbuster will be returning to theaters for one week. Black Panther will screen at select AMC Theatres locations between Feb. 1 and 7 — and in celebration of Black History Month, tickets will be free. In addition to the free screenings, Disney revealed that it will give a $1.5 million grant to the United Negro College Fund, which provides scholarships to help minority students attend college. “Black Panther is groundbreaking for many reasons, including the rich diversity of voices behind its success,” Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement. “The story also showcases the power of knowledge to change the world for the better, and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to it. We’re proud to provide thousands of free screenings of Black Panther in hopes it will continue to inspire audiences, and to support UNCF with a $1.5 million grant to make the dream of higher education a reality for more students.” How dope is that? The government shut down has no visible end in site. This entire government shutdown is due to Trump not approving a government budget with a 5 billion dollar budget to build a wall in Mexico to stop illegal immigrants coming into the United States. The year 2020 will be the year that the United States either purges its highest office of racism, misogyny, and crass arrogance, or it finally accepts that its premise of exceptionalism, inclusion, and equality is wholly a farce. According to KCBS , sources close to say Senator Harris will likely make her announcement on the apt Martin Luther King Jr. Day at a campaign rally in her hometown of Black a$$ Oakland. Another spokesperson told The Hill that no announcement is planned and Senator Harris isn’t scheduled to be in the Bay Area during the holiday. We call shenanigans. Sounds like they just don’t want word getting out ahead of their event. Every single time Senator Harris appears on TV, she’s asked if she plans to run and usually responds with some variation of “Nah, I’m not quite reaady”.
