The discount shoe store is set to close all 2,100 of its locations in the United States and Puerto Rico in the next few months. The liquidation sale began on Sunday and stores will be closing up shop in March, though most are set to stay open until May. Payless is also shutting down its online store. It could file for bankruptcy for a second time by the end of the month, according to reports. Founded back in 1956, Payless has more than 3,600 locations in 40 countries and over 18,000 employees, per its website. The international franchises and Latin American stores will not be affected by the closure. Payless first filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in April of 2017, closing 400 stores in the process. It reorganized soon after, cutting millions of dollars in debt but it wasn’t enough to fully save the company. 2-Way Street: Texas Residents Ponder Whether Or Not To Transition “Bruce Jenner Lane”

Texas Residents Debate Changing Bruce Jenner Lane Street To Caitlyn Jenner Lane Times they are a-changin’…to Caitlyn … Via DailyMail Residents of neighborhoods with roads commemorating US Olympians are debating changing their street signs to match one honoree’s new name. Those living on Bruce Jenner Lane in Austin and other cities face questions about whether their roads should be renamed after the Olympic decathlete unveiled her new identity, Caitlyn Jenner, on the cover of Vanity Fair. ‘Should we put both of them on there? Tape one underneath it?’ Texas resident Ray Briggs asked. Briggs and others in Olympic Heights, a neighborhood where the streets are named after famous Olympians such as Wilma Rudolph and Jim Thorpe, say they are supportive of Jenner. However, they now must decide if doing the paperwork to make a change official is worth it. ‘I thought about doing it myself,’ Briggs told KVUE. Address information for bills and GPS systems would need to be updated given an official switch. Apparently the folks in Austin aren’t the only ones having trouble deciding on what to do about Bru-…Caitlyn’s new identity. El Paso residents on a Bruce Jenner Lane and those living on Bruce Jenner Drive in Clarksville, Tennessee, are also deciding whether to update their street’s name. ‘I don’t think they should change the name, because the street was named after he was an Olympian, and who he is now doesn’t change who he was in the past,’ Bianca Duran, of El Paso, told NBC. Some think that the neighborhood should use the name change to find a new idol for the street, which has been named after Jenner since 1983. Jenner’s alma mater Graceland University in Iowa also has a sports complex named after the athlete. What do you think they should do? Image via NBCDFW

You’re in luck, because we’ve got it for you right here … Ant-Man Trailer With Paul Rudd as Ant-Man , the film also stars Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Michael Pena and Evangeline Lilly, premiering nationwide July 17. The movie centers around small-time thief Scott Lang, who obtains technology – via some interesting twists of fate – to make him really small. “One question,” asks Lang to Douglas’ Hank Pym. “Is it too late to change the name?” Sadly for Marvel, it likely is. Probably, yes. Can Lang and Pym overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles and pull off a heist that will save the world, while protecting their big secret? We have a hunch that they can in a movie that brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the very first time, with great anticipation. Directed by Peyton Reed, from a screenplay by Adam McKay and Rudd himself, the next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe arrives this summer. What do you think of the Ant-Man trailer? Dane Cook Talks ‘Very Strange’ Taylor Swift Tattoo

‘The minute it went to commercial, she goes, ‘What the f— was that?’ comedian jokes about Swift’s reaction to ‘Tonight Show’ tribute. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Matt Elias Dane Cook Photo: MTV News Dane Cook shocked Taylor Swift with an original song when both were guests on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” last week. Cook sang a tune about how much he loves Swift and it was a moment made more comical because he performed it shirtless with a portrait of Swift and her name tattooed on his chest. “You’re speaking of the Taylor Swift ‘Tonight Show’ viral sensation, which is burning up the Internet charts. Well, that was years of planning,” Cook joked to MTV News when we met up to talk about his new album, I Did My Best – Greatest Hits. “It’s a real tattoo, so I had to do it over three stages of nine months … either that version of the story [about how it happened or] it took about 15 minutes the night before to write the little ditty. “I have a friend who’s a tattoo artist [and] I came off the tour, slopped that on there and I can’t get it off,” he continued. “I’ve tried rubbing alcohol. I’ve tried abrasive toothpaste, and it freaks me out. I looked in the mirror after my shower, like, ‘Taylor Swift’s face is staring back at me, very strange.’ ” Cook admitted that Swift had a great sense of humor about the whole thing. “You know, she comes across as very sweet but the minute it went to commercial she looked at me and she goes, ‘What the f— was that?’ No, I’m kidding,” he said. “She actually was really super sweet. We did get to talk a little bit and she thought it was really a very, very nice moment and then afterwards we took some pictures. We’re fast friends. We’re Twitter friends now so, you know, once you’re on Twitter with somebody it’s a camaraderie that can never be broken.” So what will the comedian do if he can’t get that tattoo off? “I figure, date really beautiful blondes and change the name — just keep getting that removed,” he joked.
