33 New Yorkers Are Hospitalized After A Synthetic Weed Overdose In Brooklyn It’s all fun until you’re kissing the New York City sidewalk wondering if you’re going to die. Hopefully the 33 people who were hospitalized this week after overdosing on a synthetic marijuana called K2, learned their lesson to be careful what you put in your body. According to the New York Post , New Yorkers started dropping like flies all over Brooklyn after having watch officers described as a “bad batch” of the drug. Witnesses describe it as Zombieland, and reported seeing people laying out in the sidewalk, foaming from the mouth, vomiting and walking into traffic “zoned out”.  One witness recalled it as “one of the craziest things [he’d] ever seen. This guy was walking around half-naked. It was insane.” ShutterStock
