Warren Sapp’s NFL Enemies Rejoice In His Fall From Grace

Warren Sapp’s Enemies Rejoice In His Downfall Via PageSix : After Warren Sapp got arrested in Phoenix Monday morning for soliciting a prostitute and assault, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer was promptly fired by NFL Network. And players the outspoken Sapp blasted over the years are lining up to troll him on Twitter. Former Giants and Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was fingered by Sapp — citing a source — as the player who ratted on the New Orleans coaching staff for Bountygatge. Shockey denied the charge and the two feuded on Twitter over the accusation. Back in 2011, he questioned the contract the Chargers gave safety Eric Weddle. Four years later, Weddle was happy to remind him of it. Thank you for the motivation the last 4 yrs. E really appreciated it. #whoisinthelineupnow pic.twitter.com/A0nDNMABZi — Eric Weddle (@weddlesbeard) February 3, 2015 Sapp has a long-running feud gong with Michael Strahan over their respective Hall of Fame credentials. Could the former Giants great turned talk-show impresario be the next to chime in? This is actually the second time Sapp had gotten arrested at the Super Bowl. He’d been arrested in South Florida and charged with domestic battery on Feb. 7, 2010 while working as an analyst for the NFL Network. He got suspended but the woman in question didn’t file charges. This time he wasn’t so lucky. Not only schadenfreude, but comedy gold. SMH! Sounds like Sapp doesn’t have too much support after his bad behavior. SMH. Twitter
