This morning, Executive Producer of ABC’s, “Mixed-ish,” Tracee Ellis Ross joined Michael Strahan, Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America to discuss the upcoming Black-ish spin-off series and the launch of her new product joining the natural hair movement! For those who need a catchup, Hart’s old homophobic tweets popped back up and he said he’d rather just forego hosting than apologize “again.” We thought it was all said and done back then but he’s back in the public eye talking about the whole situation and, boy, does he sound like a whole fool? He’s trying to defend himself but it’s not quite working out in his favor. Just…take a look at the dragging that’s taking place. Michael Strahan just asked Kevin Hart a direct question about being a father with a gay son. He somehow made that question about him and cited those poor responses in years past. As previously reported old homophobic tweets surfaced from Kevin’s Twitter account shortly after he was announced as the Academy Awards host. He then dropped out as host but refused to apologize. Despite that Ellen campaigned to have him back much to many people’s chagrin. Now Kevin whose been playing victim this whole time is forcibly closing the curtain on the issue. The comedian/actor was a guest on Good Morning America this morning and he told Michael Strahan that he REFUSES to discuss it further. “I’m done with it. It gets no more energy from me,” said Hart. “That’s why I said, for the last time, I’m addressing this. There’s no more conversation about it. I’m literally—I’m over that. I’m over the moment, and I’m about today. So, if it’s accepted great, If not, it’s nothing I can control. Some things are left out of your hands. So, I’m done with it. I’m over it. That’s where I’m personally at.” He then stuck to his guns when Strahan continued to question him about it and argued that he’s “already explained how he’s evolved.” “I’m not saying how I changed anymore,” he said. “I’m not saying what I’ve done and what the new me is. I’m not giving no more explanation of who I am. I’ve done it. I’ve done it several times. I’ve tweeted it. I’ve talked about it when I went on Ellen. I said it on my radio show. I’m just done. So you have to come to a point where you know that you’ve given all that you possibly can. And if that’s received, then great—then that means we’ve achieved something. Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Papoose Buys Remy Ma A Push Present Remy Ma was recently given a GOOD gift for the birth of “the golden child.” The rapper who welcomed a baby girl December 14 was awarded a special gift from her hubby Papoose for a successful delivery. While the couple was on GMA, host Michael Strahan asked Papoose if he planned on giving Remy a “push gift.” Papoose has since taken on Michael’s idea and awarded Remy with a helluva push gift; a 2019 Escalade with an MSRP of $94,000. According to Pap, Remy deserves it because she’s been breastfeeding around the clock. Must be niiiiiice. Congrats to these two, we can’t wait to see “the golden child.”
Despite the drama-filled 24 hours that have surrounded her, Omarosa Manigault still managed to head to the Good Morning America studios for a sit-down interview to let the world know her side of why she’s no longer a member of the Trump administration. Apparently, everyone but Omarosa Manigault knows that she was fired from her “never really explained” position in the Trump White House, however that didn’t stop her from going on Good Morning America and telling Michael Strahan her side of things. Reports immediately started flying about Omarosa’s unceremonious exit from the White House, which included being physically escorted off the premises, her cursing and yelling and demanding to speak to Trump before she left. In her first (and very quick) interview since the turn of events, she did what was expected—denied everything and insisted that she resigned to “pursue other opportunities.” This is the same sentiment that was echoed by Trump, as he tweeted and thanked Omarosa for her service. Nick Viall has attempted to find love on national television three times already. The reality TV star was recently revealed to be our The Bachelor Season 21 suitor and it came with a lot of backlash. The backlash mostly came from the rumors that Luke Pell was meant to be the main man for the job. Pell competed on The Bachelorette Season 12 and accumulated a lot of fans throughout his run on the show. Nick has featured on two seasons of The Bachelorette and one season of Bachelor in Paradise, so you can understand why some think Pell deserved it more. What the heck is wrong with Nick? Maybe that’s why producers opted for Nick over Luke. However, Nick has now revealed that he is “very nervous” about appearing as the leading man on the show. The 35-year-old chatted with Good Morning America ‘s Michael Strahan and Amy Robach on Thursday. He also admitted that it took him a few days to decide on whether to take the producers up on their offer. Maybe that’s why Luke Pell had his bags packed? The producers could have been stringing him along until Nick inevitably accepted the opportunity. “I didn’t have a lot of time to think about it,” he continued. “Because they didn’t ask me too long ago.” It all sounds pretty ominous, but would Luke have really been the leading man if Nick declined? There’s a good chance of that. Luke’s co-star, Robby Hayes recently chimed in about Viall’s casting and was less than positive about it. He even said Nick was too old to be on the show. Maybe it’s down to the fact that he and Pell competed on the same season of the show. That said, Hayes did confirm that he would consider appearing as the leading man. Basically, if he was asked, he would say yes. No one in their right mind is going to say no. Nick touched upon the huge responsibility that comes with being part of the reality hit. “There’s a lot of expectations that come with it. There’s also no guarantees. …I get to be the Bachelor. I get to meet 25 amazing women, but you just never know if you’re gonna connect with them.” “Maybe you connect with someone who doesn’t like you back.” Amy Robach had the most hilarious response. “Yeah, you know a little bit about that.” That was obviously a nod to the fact that Viall is yet to find love on television. A few months after his very awkward and contentious exit from Live! with Kelly and Michael , the former New York Giants defensive star made his debut Tuesday as a full-time anchor on Good Morning America. And while Strahan was basically shown the door in angry fashion by Kelly Ripa back in May, he was welcomed warmly to the morning desk by colleagues George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts this morning. When she did finally come back, she and Strahan tried to joke around about the career change, but their interactions were nothing but forced and tense until Strahan’s departure on May 13. When he originally announced he was leaving Live, Strahan said it would make the switch in September. But producers couldn’t possibly continue with Ripa and Strahan as co-hosts for much longer, resulting in the latter getting the heck out of there four months earlier than initially planned. I’m not dying! I’m still in the family!” he said on air upon making the GMA announcement, adding: “And I’m still available to come back if I’m ever called to co-host so I’m not going anywhere. I’m not gone.” Yeah. We somehow doubt he’ll ever be called upon for that. Ripa is yet to announce a permanent replacement for Strahan, following rumors that the two hated each other away from set . But Strahan is clearly keeping his eyes on the future, not the past. He will co-anchor the ABC morning show each weekday and he recently told People Magazine of accepting the new position: “Can’t wait to be there full-time.
