Source: Jamie McCarthy / Getty Kevin Hart Lets Go Of Some Retired Potential Oscars Jokes Kevin Hart says he’s done talking about anything relating to the Oscars–but of course, he’s still talking about the Oscars. In the comedian’s latest stop, he visited The Late Show where Stephen Colbert asks Kevin about how he doesn’t want to talk about his former hosting gig anymore…before going on to talk more about his former hosting gig. Since there’s no use for it anymore, Hart ends up trying out the material he was once preparing for the Oscars ceremony.
In cased you missed the Vitamin Of The Day on the Quick Silva Show… His vitamin was “In order to lead, you must be willing to turn your back on the crowd.” He stressed the importance of being able to separate yourself to a leader position. Sometimes leading isn’t always the most popular decision but you have to turn your back to on the crowd to demand the lead.
As soon as Kevin Hart stepped down from hosting the Oscars and that’s left the question…Who’s going to host. If you’ve been living under a rock then you missed that Kevin Hart was set to host this year’s Oscars but some homophobic tweets resurfaced and that caused him to step down because he refused to address the tweets…AGAIN. The comedian said that he addressed the tweets in the past and the academy gave him an ultimatum to apologize or they would choose someone else to host. Kevin chose to step down from the position after saying that he’s apologized several time for the tweets. The irony of the entire situation is that Kevin stood on the idea that he wouldn’t continue to address the situation but he has recently gone on a press tour to discuss the Oscar’s controversy. Alas he says after this he will not address the situation anymore. Here’s a look at his Good Morning America interview addressing the situation: Kevin went on to say that ultimately he’s not opposed to hosting the Oscars in the future and there are no hard feelings between him and the academy. He says he’s currently too busy to hosts the Oscars at this point. According to multiple sources the Oscars will have several celebrities introduce segments instead of one main host. After the controversy of this year it seems like no celebrity wanted the task of following up on the drama If you want to know the on going drama with R. Kelly, plus why the City Girls and Khia are beefing, Leah’s got you covered! Listen to Leah’s Lemonade above.

Kelly is still a topic trending on social media after this weekend’s emotionally draining documentary series chronicling the R&B singers sick and sordid history of *allegedly* sexually abusing young girls and women. Two contributors to the doc, Jamilah Lemieux and Touré, sat down with Mouse Jones of The Clubhouse Podcast (formerly He-Man Woman Haters Club), to talk about the aftermath and polarizing reactions. On this very special episode @Mouse_Jones sits down with @JamilahLemieux and @Toure to discuss the recent R. Source: Paula Lobo / Getty He’s Hartly sorry… Kevin Hart Says He’s Done Discussing Oscars Controversy Belligerent and still hardly sorry Kevin Hart’s making a “final statement” on the controversy surrounding him and the Oscars. As previously reported old homophobic tweets surfaced from Kevin’s Twitter account shortly after he was announced as the Academy Awards host. He then dropped out as host but refused to apologize. Despite that Ellen campaigned to have him back much to many people’s chagrin. Now Kevin whose been playing victim this whole time is forcibly closing the curtain on the issue. The comedian/actor was a guest on Good Morning America this morning and he told Michael Strahan that he REFUSES to discuss it further. “I’m done with it. It gets no more energy from me,” said Hart. “That’s why I said, for the last time, I’m addressing this. There’s no more conversation about it. I’m literally—I’m over that. I’m over the moment, and I’m about today. So, if it’s accepted great, If not, it’s nothing I can control. Some things are left out of your hands. So, I’m done with it. I’m over it. That’s where I’m personally at.” He then stuck to his guns when Strahan continued to question him about it and argued that he’s “already explained how he’s evolved.” “I’m not saying how I changed anymore,” he said. “I’m not saying what I’ve done and what the new me is. I’m not giving no more explanation of who I am. I’ve done it. I’ve done it several times. I’ve tweeted it. I’ve talked about it when I went on Ellen. I said it on my radio show. I’m just done. So you have to come to a point where you know that you’ve given all that you possibly can. And if that’s received, then great—then that means we’ve achieved something. If it’s not, there’s nothing I can do. So, I do this now [shrugs].” “I’m over it,” he added. “There’s no more conversation about it … I’m over that, I’m over the moment.” Touche sir. FULL INTERVIEW: @KevinHart4real addresses the #Oscars controversy surrounding homophobic jokes he’s tweeted in the past, one-on-one with @michaelstrahan : https://t.co/H7qgNuSWji pic.twitter.com/OR7aiwpO8z — Good Morning America (@GMA) January 9, 2019 People are none too pleased with the way Kevin’s been handling this entire situation. Instead of just admitting that he wrong to drop “f***t” several times on his own volition he’s shifted the blame to the media instead of being accountable. What do YOU think about Kevin Hart deading the Oscars discussion???
Eddie Murphy went from movies like Trading Places and Coming To America to movies like Dream Girls and Mr. Church. In fact, a lot the comedic greats have gone from comedy to more dramatic pieces in their Hollywood lives. Kevin Hart has taken his first step into drama with The Upside starring Bryan Cranston. Ironically this turns out to be one of Kevin’s funniest movies yet. Today on Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine we take a look at The Upside. Based on a French blockbuster and true story, Phillip, played by Cranston, is a wealthy quadriplegic who needs a caretaker to help him with his day-to-day routine in his New York penthouse. He decides to hire Dell, played by Hart, a struggling parolee who’s trying to reconnect with his ex and his young son. Dell starts out reluctant not taking this job seriously but over the movie the two build a bond together filled with ups and downs that lead to many hilarious moments. We get to see Kevin show off his chops for dramatic acting and I asked him if this was something we could see him doing more of, Kevin told us “I think there is a lot more to be seen, I think I have a lot more depth, but it’s just about me picking the right projects to show that and make sure I do it, in a timely fashion.” Kevin then adds that he’s not in a rush to become a full-time dramatic actor but he intends to give his fans a nice journey before he eventually ends up doing more dramas. One of the best scenes is when Dell takes Phillip to pick up his son in one of Phillip’s luxury cars in order to show his son what he’s doing for a living. The trio has a great time that leads to a big dramatic moment outside of the projects with Bryan Cranston, and Kevin Hart. I asked them if Bryan was really outside of the projects in that scene and Kevin burst into laughter and they both tell a hilarious story about the scene. Kevin revealed, “I would just keep apologizing, I’m sorry. I’m home.” Bryan also shares some great career advice for anyone who has been getting in their own way like the characters in this film. Bryan said if you want success you have to tell yourself, “I gotta get strategic about this if I want to get over here, what are the steps that are going to get me there? Then you have to be willing to put in the work. There is no shortcut, there is no magic potion. You have to put in the work and the hours if you’re going to achieve anything.” Overall I think The Upside hilarious and if it could end up surprising a lot of folk at the box office. Its one of Kevin’s best film and it’s the same greatness you expect from Bryan Cranston. It’s definitely worth checking out as it hits theaters everywhere Friday, January 11th.
Source: Sun Sentinel / Getty Demi Lovato Slams Instagram For Displaying A Harmful Ad Demi Lovato took to Instagram on Friday to fight back on an issue she’s long been passionate about stopping: body shaming. Instagram removed an advertisement for a mobile game from their app after the singer posted several IG stories denouncing the ad and asking for it to be taken down. The sponsored post promoting a game called “Game of Sultans” featured two side-by-side characters, one dubbed “obese” and another called “pretty.” “Why is this fat shaming bull**it on my feed,” the 26-year-old wrote on her Instagram story. “So many things wrong with this ad.” She even tweeted about it to draw attention to the ad and how much of a problem she has with it, urging her fans to “always speak up for what you believe in.” Just called out Instagram and some bullshit game on my insta stories.. go check it out. Always speak up for what you believe in! — Demi Lovato (@ddlovato) January 4, 2019 The message from the ad is basically that only skinny women are pretty–which is clearly wrong and problematic–so Demi took it upon herself to take a stand. “This is absolutely harmful to anyone who is easily influenced by societal pressures put on us from the diet culture to constantly be losing weight in a world that teaches us to equate our value and worth with the way we look and especially anyone in recovery from an eating disorder,” she wrote. “Especially when eating disorders are all about ‘control.’” Lovato goes on to directly call out Instagram for allowing an ad that degrades the way people look on its platform. “Please Instagram, keep this bull**it off mine and other’s feeds who could easily be effected by this disgusting advertisement,” she wrote. “With how aware people are becoming of mental health and mental illnesses, I expect you guys to know better by allowing this advertisement to be allowed on your app. And shame on the game.” Following the post, Instagram ended up apologizing and told TMZ the ad violated its terms of service and would be removed. “We’re sorry. This ad was approved by mistake,” the company said. “We reviewed it again and removed it from future delivery in people’s feeds.” Continue reading →
Source: Prince Williams / Getty Everybody is an expert these days when it comes to anything, just because they’ve read it on the Internet. Kevin Gates must be an OBGYN and we just don’t know about it, because the Louisiana rapper gave a whole unwanted lesson on Bacterial Vaginosis and Vaginal Discharge in women via Twitter. Bacterial vaginosis, also known as vaginal bacteriosis, is the most common cause of vaginal infection for women of childbearing age. It frequently develops after sexual intercourse with a new partner, and it is rare for a woman to have it if she has never had sexual intercourse. — Kevin Gates (@iamkevingates) January 5, 2019 Bacterial vaginitis (BV) is the most common vaginal infection among women aged 15 to 44 years. Symptoms, if they appear, may include itching and a gray, watery discharge with a “fishy” smell. Untreated BV can lead to serious complications. Treatment is normally with antibiotics. — Kevin Gates (@iamkevingates) January 5, 2019 The information looks like something he copied straight off of Web MD, and folks were calling him out for his “facts” it being hella inaccurate. I dropped out of med school but I can still tell you this wrong as shit Kev. — Just Call Me DJ (@HovsMyUncle) January 5, 2019 But the real question is what was he going through that day to make him want to give lecture on BV. Kevin tweeted: My last two tweets were for the people who believe feminine discharge and a fishy smell is normal – I only tell you this because I love you — Kevin Gates (@iamkevingates) January 5, 2019 Wonder what Dreka has to say about this. Source: WENN / WENN Wendy Williams Denies Claims That Her Husband Is Having An Outside Kid Recently we relayed a report from Love B. Scott that said Kevin Hunter, Wendy Williams’ husband of two decades was allegedly having an outside baby with his mistress. Now, Wendy is denying the claims. Through a cease and desist letter received by Love B. Scott from Wendy’s lawyers; Wendy and Kevin both say the outside baby story is a farce. Love B. Scott shared a quote from the lawyer that denied the claims altogether. Her lawyer sent us a cease and desist letter the day after Christmas (with typos) demanding a retraction for our previous exclusive about her alleged self-medication and rumors her husband Kevin got his mistress pregnant. The letter states that both “Mrs. Wendy Williams-Hunter and Mr. Kevin Hunter categorically deny each and every allegation made by your “sources”, even if not specifically enumerated herein.” Alright. In the same story, Love B. Scott says that the future of Wendy’s famous daytime talk show is shaky. Although Wendy’s show was renewed for next season, their source confirmed that concerns over Wendy’s health are clouding chances for any further renewal. Two weeks ago, Wendy was seen slurring her word s on an episode and looking confused. She attributed her odd behavior to taking pain medication after fracturing her upper arm. Apparently, this might have Wendy looking at an early retirement.
