Like Toni’s book, the film chronicles her career and personal life, covering her rise to stardom, financial struggles, health issues, divorce and journey raising her Autistic son. Though rumors initially pegged Toni herself as the film’s star , industry newbie Lex Scott Davis will star as Toni, marking her first major starring role, while Toni and Babyface executive produce the project.
