Brooklyn Residents Protest By Hopping The Turnstiles After Multiple Instances Of Police Brutality On The Subway

Source: Alberto Reyes/WENN.com / WENN New York City Is Fighting Back Against The New Subway Procedures Say what you want about New York , but the people there will always fight for what they believe in. Hundreds of New Yorkers gathered in Downtown Brooklyn on Friday night to protest against the aggressive policing of the subway system. Approximately 1,000 demonstrators marched across the main avenues to protest, according to reports from PIX11 . One chant included protestors yelling, “hands off black kids, NYPD,” responding to the recent incidents of police brutality. People working two, three jobs, barely keeping a roof over their head,” one protester told NY1 . “And what’s the city’s response? Hire more cops. Beat people up who can’t afford to pay the fare.” During these protests, no arrests were made, although there were some reported acts of vandalism. These demonstrations occurred just days after videos showing NYPD officers using excessive force on train stations went viral. One of the videos showed NYPD pointing their guns at a young man who was sitting in a packed subway car. Other passengers flee as the teenager puts his hands up in the air and asks someone to call his mom. A few moments later, a group of officers stormed the car, throwing the teen on the ground and placing him in cuffs–all because he allegedly skipped the MTA’s $2.75 fare . Cosmic Conflict: Marvel & Taika Waititi Conflicted Over The God Of Thunder’s Bod For ‘Thor 4’

Source: Xilla Valentine / GlobalGrind Marvel & Taika Waititi Conflicted Over Thor Body Type For Thor 4 Marvel is almost done counting through their piles of cash secured from their box office monster, Avengers: Endgame . The Ironman arc-ending movie has blown well past what every previous film made EVER in terms of revenue and continues to grow slowly every single day. Now that Endgame’s moment is coming to an end it’s time to move on and keep the MCU storyline pushing. To the surprise of many, it was announced that Chris Hemsworth would return to his role as Thor for an unprecedented fourth feature film. While many are excited and anticipating the 2021 release of Thor: Love & Thunder , the team at Marvel Studios is stuck making the biggest decision post Endgame: Do you keep Thor in the fat aesthetic he debuted in Endgame or return Chris Hemsworth to his lady-pleasing ripped body, which happens to be his natural state. Recently the director of the upcoming film Taika Waititi sat down with Yahoo to discuss the big question on everyone’s mind. While he’s working on the finishing touches for the script, he and Marvel still have no idea which direction to take Thor’s body. “This is an ongoing debate that we’re still having at Marvel,” Waititi told us during an interview promoting his new festival-winning comedic WWII drama Jojo Rabbit. “‘Cause we’re trying to figure out how long — how many months or years — this is after Endgame, at what point does this take place? I think we always want to keep changing it up with Thor. He’s so interesting when he’s changing all the time.” The entire purpose of Thor gaining weight was to convey the emotion he went through from losing everyone around him to Thanos. For now, it seems likely that Thor will return to the screen ripped with the six-pack he’s known for because if not, there will be tons of ladies hatefully @-ing Marvel and Taika on Twitter. Source: Janeé Bolden / Courtesy Stars Of ‘Dora The Explorer’ Film Reveal Scariest Scenes And What They’d Put In Dora’s Backpack Last week BOSSIP’s Senior Content Director Janeé Bolden headed to Miami for the premiere of Paramount’s new film ‘Dora and the Lost City Of Gold’. Check out her exclusive interview with Isabela Moner, who played Dora and Jeff Wahlberg, who played Diego below: We had such a ball chatting with Jeff and Isabela. We also caught up with Jeff at the premiere’s green carpet, where he discussed being part of the famous Wahlberg family (his uncles are entertainers Donnie and Mark Wahlberg) and filming in Australia. After telling Jeff we’d heard he had a few famous uncles he laughed and said, “One or two.” We asked about the pressure to carry on the family legacy but Wahlberg told us, “I try not to think about it a lot, it’s special. They’re definitely an inspiration.” We also asked him about filming in Australia, since the film is set in Los Angeles in Peru and Wahlberg told us it was a great time. “It just felt like a bunch of Latin people, a bunch of Brown people – just took over Australia,” Wahlberg, whose mom is from the Dominican Republic, told BOSSIP. “Australia is such a beautiful country, nice people, it’s so clean and most of it is so untouched. We had a blast and I really enjoyed it.” Gotta love it! Check out ‘Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ in theaters August 9th!
