Pauly says getting love from celebs like Will Ferrell and Charlize Theron ‘blows my mind.’ By Josh Wigler Pauly D Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images Although the stars of “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” walked away from the 2010 MTV Movie Awards with five Golden Popcorn statues to their names, they weren’t the only ones feeling victorious. The castmembers of “Jersey Shore” were fist-pumping their way up and down the red carpet at the awards show as well. But for any fans hoping for a “Twilight” vs. “Jersey Shore” showdown, you’re in for a bit of a disappointment. Speaking with MTV News, “Pauly D” DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino revealed that they have nothing but respect for Team Edward, Team Jacob and everyone in between. “I’m a fan of them,” said Pauly D, while Vinny added: “I wish everybody success. We’re both doing our thing right now, and we’re both guests at the MTV Movie Awards. Can’t ask for anything more than that, you know?” Indeed, Pauly D and Vinny seemed more than content to simply attend the MTV Movie Awards. The pair talked about how surreal it was to be surrounded by so many celebrities — particularly the ones who actually recognize the “Jersey Shore” crew. “It blows my mind,” Pauly said. “I heard Will Ferrell, he said my name last night in a video [with] Mark Wahlberg, like, ‘Who do you know from the “Jersey Shore”?’ They’re like, ‘Pauly D.’ That’s crazy to me!” But Pauly’s reputation with Ferrell and Wahlberg paled in comparison to the news that Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron is a fan of Pauly’s and the show . “Sick! See what I’m saying? That’s what’s up,” Pauly laughed. “That’s crazy! I love that. I like that.
