Canadian teen joins the cast of “Glee” for an American tradition. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber (file) Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images While the Easter Bunny, President Obama and the entire first family attended the annual White House Easter Egg Roll at the on Monday (April 5), it was Canadian teen pop star Justin Bieber who really got the girls screaming. The day’s events were kicked off by a stirring rendition of the national anthem by “Glee” star Amber Reilly. A number of celebrities showed up at the big event, including “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling and Reese Witherspoon. The “Glee” cast warmed up the crowd with the classic Queen tune, “Somebody to Love.” Then Bieber, dressed in a maroon T-shirt and tight-fitting black jeans, hit the stage with a full band and backup dancers. He sang his hits “One Time” and “Baby,” on which he rapped. “What a lovely crowd,” he said during his set. “They’re hyped a little bit! … How many of you guys think it’s a beautiful day out here? It’s a beautiful day! It’s a good time to play my new song, ‘U Smile.’ ” He then went into the Motown-flavored tune, followed by a medley of classic songs, including Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Something” and Aerosmith/Run-DMC’s “Walk This Way.” Not only did the crowd to get to see Bieber dance a bit more, but during “Walk This Way” he even showed off his ability to play the drums. He ended the set with “Baby” before giving high-fives to his band for a job well done. While at the event, Bieber took to Twitter to share that he was there. “I’m at the WHITE HOUSE!!!” he wrote excitedly. If you were president, who would you want to see perform at the White House?
