The singer, whose Can’t Be Tamed album comes out on Monday, is in talks to star in the big-screen adaptation of the thriller “Wake,” part of a trilogy of young-adult paranormal novels written by Lisa McCann. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cyrus, 17, is attached to star in the film, which is being adapted for the screen by “Disturbia” co-writer Christopher Landon. (The movie is being co-produced by MTV Films.)
