This year, to mark the one-year anniversary , celebrities have continued to bring awareness to the aftermath, from George Clooney’s pleas for support to Sean Penn relocating to Haiti as a resident. Included in that group are Wyclef Jean and his sister, Melky. The latter star is set to release her next project, Care for Haiti, an album she’s been working on since 2007 that has grown in importance since the earthquake. All of the proceeds from the album are slated to go to Care, a charitable organization that’s helped the country for more than 50 years.
