Don’t Play With Us, Robyn: Rihanna Says She’ll Be Releasing An Album In 2019

Source: Caroline McCredie / Getty We’re Getting A Rihanna Album Next Year, According To Rihanna Rihanna has been absolutely killing the makeup (and lingerie) game–so it’s no surprise that music has taken a backseat this year. But luckily for us, it looks like that won’t be the case for long. In an Instagram post that the mogul shared on Friday, Rih gave her fans something to live for by responding to one of the many comments asking when to expect new music with a one-word answer. “2019,” she wrote. It was just earlier this week that Rihanna’s go-to vocal producer  Kuk Harrell said  that her currently untitled ninth studio album was sounding “amazing.” He also added, “It’s incredible, and that’s all I’m going to say.” Ms. Fenty definitely isn’t oblivious to the fact that her fans are looking for some new music in every nook and cranny. Back in September, Rih let us know that she would be releasing new material as she focused on her other interests. “Simultaneously doing lingerie, makeup, film, amongst a couple other things that I enjoy…When the music is ready, you won’t have to ask for it. But it’s coming.” And on top of the fact that we apparently get some new Rihanna music in 2019, that’s not the only project she has on the way. The makeup and music mogul recently appeared in the trailer for Donald Glover and Hiro Murai’s  Guava Island . Hopefully, Robyn isn’t trolling and a new album is indeed on the horizon for 2019…and if we’re lucky, it’ll be January 1.
