Ann B. Davis, the actress behind Alice on The Brady Bunch, fell in her bathroom today, suffering a subdural hematoma and never regaining consciousness. She was 88 years old. Despite her age, Davis’ death came as a surprise to the couple with whom she lived. One roommate tells TMZ that Davis was in good health, walking downstairs on Saturday evening to say goodnight. Davis rose to fame on The Bob Cummings Show (1955–59), twice winning the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. But she will forever be remembered as Alice Nelson, the housekeeper on The Brady Bunch for five years who dished out words of wisdom to Mike and Carol and their six kids. In 1960, the Schenectady, New York native received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We send our condolences to her loved ones. Celebrities We Lost in 2014 1. Philip Seymour Hoffman R.I.P.
