Duggar Family: SLAMMED For Posting About Evils of Money

The Duggar family is very, very wealthy. They’re not “Trump rich,” but they’re much closer to “Kardashian rich” than most of their fans realize. In addition to their reality TV empire, the Duggars have launched a wide array of business ventures that serve to both bring in extra income and keep their sons-in-law marginally employed. Despite all of that, it seems the Duggars are still firm believers that all money is sinful – even the rare bills that have never been used as a cocaine straw or found their way into s stripper’s g-string. The Duggars have never been shy about expressing their religious beliefs on social media, even when those views are sure to attract controversy. (We imagine Jessa wasn’t exactly shocked when folks took issue with her idiotically comparing abortion to the Holocaust .) This time, however, the arguments are not against the message, but with the people who shared it: The Duggars posted the above image to their official Facebook page yesterday, and some fans are accusing the well-heeled clan of hypocrisy: “And that is exactly why they were exposed for the fakes they are. Their love for fame and fortune,” wrote one follower. “If ratings start dipping, marriages are rushed and courtships develop and progress rapidly. It’s all about the ratings, which translates to ‘it’s all about the money,'” commented another. Others rushed to the Dugs’ defense  “That’s right – it’s not money (which just a tool) but the love of money. Great reminder,” wrote one fan. Fans have long been confused by the Duggars views on money, and it seems this meme didn’t help to clarify matters much. They’re obviously ambitious when it comes to stacking funds, and one of their stranger beliefs is that getting debt is a sin . But clearly they’re not all in with capitalism, as they’re quick to quote the Bible on the topic of the evils of currency. View Slideshow: The 11 Biggest Duggar Family Scandals of 2015 We guess their views on greed are just another item on the long, long list of things we don’t really understand about the Duggars. Watch Counting On online to help make these folks richer, and thus, more conflicted.

Corinne Olympios: Topless, Shameless on The Bachelor!

The Bachelor Villain 2017, Corinne Olympios, is ready to do just about anything to stay on top of her game on the ABC dating competition. In the case of tonight, that means taking her top off and pressing her body against Nick Viall to throw the other women off their game. Subtle? No. Not in the slightest. Effective? You better believe it. In the sneak peek at Monday’s new episode that appears below, Corinne Olympios is one of many women selected to go on a group date. Like any good pot-stirrer, she has no problem standing out from the rest of the girls, even in a group setting, by utilizing her best assets. In the clip, Corinne jumps into the pool next to Nick as part of a photo shoot, then decides to take the steamy date to the next level. Or the level beyond that. The Miami native removes her bikini top in front of the leading man, her fellow contestants, the camera crew and all of Bachelor Nation. Gauntlet. Thrown. Down. Nick appeared to be in shock, though if you read The Bachelor spoilers for this season, we have a hunch Corinne's methods pay off. Sorry. Forget we said anything. “Wait, what is she doing?” asks one bewildered contestant as she looks on, summing up what everyone not named Corinne was thinking. Does she have any regrets? Umm, no. Olympios, clutching a coveted rose, leaves little doubt that she'd pull off the stunt (and her clothes) again to achieve her goal. “Dad would be proud,” Corinne says. “Even though I was naked.” Well that's good. While she's immediately become the show's most hated contestant, Nick Viall defended Corinne on his blog last week. “Corinne was a woman who certainly brought her confidence that night,” Viall said, noting that he had been in her shoes before. Sometimes, “villain” is too broad of a label for someone who goes after what they want and isn't afraid of what others may think. As a contestant on The Bachelorette, Nick observes, he was not always the most popular guy with the other guys – or viewers. “When she came back for a second conversation, I was a little surprised but at the same time I respected the assertiveness,” he wrote. “I appreciated Corinne being confident enough to take a chance and put her relationship with me above everything else.” Also causing drama tonight? Liz Sandoz , who appears to reveal the truth about her relationship with Nick, telling virginal Christen about drunkenly banging him. Should be good. Watch:

LAPD of the Day

This cop is the Rhubarb lady of police work. She doesn’t like tatted up gangsters…who park in parking lots…I find her assertiveness kinda hot, far hotter than the bike cops I saw last night who were chasing a “perp”…that’s what they call them…because they looked so fucking silly…even in their spandex police shorts…I mean I’d let them arrest me on bike just because I’d feel bad that they were put on bike patrol, like that’s a shitty fucking deal, so I’d want to help them look good to their peers who get to drive the cars and motorcycles, you know and carry the real guns… If you don’t like, maybe you’ll prefer this dude’s attempt at getting an insurance claim. Cops are the worst.
