Source: FatCamera / Getty A DeKalb County school in Atlanta, GA recently found itself in hot water after a post surfaced online of a sign that depicted appropriate haircuts and inappropriate haircuts for black students. The woman who posted it called out Narvie Harris Elementary School for the post calling it shameful and a hit on self-expression, but the post also seems a bit racist. Haircuts like mohawks and designs etched into the hair was deemed not acceptable. County officials have stated that the images did not reflect the districts grooming policy and the matter is being handled, but parents are still quite outraged. Click here to see the post. Source: Miami Herald / Getty According to Fox 5 , a pregnant woman was shot and killed in Athens, Georgia around 9:30 Monday night. Police say they responded to gun shots being fired in an apartment complex on Carriage Court when they found the victim with gun shot wounds. Auriel Callaway was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Police took 8 people in to custody in connection with the shooting, but no one has been charged at the moment. According to WSBTV, a technical error in the system has been duplicating old charges, putting charges on your record that you have already resolved. Coweta County officials have stated around 2,000 records were incorrectly sent to the state and they’re working to try to get this issue fixed.
