The Bachelor and Bachelorette don’t have the most stellar track record when it comes to lasting love, but Desiree Hartsock found her fairy tale ending. When she said “I do” to fiance Chris Siegfried last weekend, Desiree Hartsock married the love of her life in a magical ceremony in Palos Verdes, Calif. The couple exchanged vows nearly two years after they first met while filming season nine finale of The Bachelorette in 2013, and it was perfect. Between the duo’s nuptials, her two dresses, her bridesmaids, and her first dance with her new husband … she is a bridal stylist by trade, remember. “It’s cliche to say,” the newlywed tells Us , “but it was a dream come true.” For a time, it didn’t look that way for Des, and certainly not for Chris. She was pretty hung up on Brooks Forester for most of her time on The Bachelorette , and picked Chris only after Brooks left during the overnight dates. That was the ultimate silver lining, however, for a couple that has been inseparable, and head over heels in love, since the cameras stopped rolling. The brunette beauty moved to Seattle to be together with her fiance, a former pro baseball player turned mortgage banker, and has never looked back.
