Iman Europe moved back to LA from New York this summer and took her first trip to Oakland. She fell in love with the place, so much that she made an ode the town called “ Oakland “! Her buzz has been steadily growing in The Bay, prompting a mini-tour and motivating the singer-songwriter to move to Oakland earlier this month. Europe and her friends out in The Bay documented all her tour shenanigans which are depicted in her latest visuals. In her own words: “I wanted to do something different with this video. My main goal was to portray the energy and community they have here in Oakland (which is so rare), as well as the reason I fell in love with this place. I pitched my idea to  Luis Montoya , a Bay native of  Simphony Productions  and he helped bring the video to life. The beat is produced by my in-house producer,  Che , who is also a Bay native.” Check out the video and more photos below: Continue reading →
