So Sad: “The Miller High Life Guy” Windell D. Middlebrooks Dies At Age 36

Actor Windell D. Middlebrooks Dead At 36 What a sad, unexpected passing . Via HollywoodLife : Windell D. Middlebrooks, who has appeared on countless television shows including Parks and Recreation, Cougar Town and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, died on Mar. 9. After being found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home, Windell was transferred to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Windell, who gained global recognition for his role in the Miller High Life commercials as the “Miller High Life Delivery Guy,” had his whole life ahead of him. Along with his involvement on the aforementioned series, he was also a series regular on the ABC drama, Body of Proof. While no official cause of death has been announced, foul play is not suspected to have played a role. Originally from Texas, Windell attended Sterling College and then went on to receive an MFA from the University of California, Irvine for acting. He got his professional start acting on Disney channel shows including The Suite Life on Deck and Hannah Montana. So sad. Our thoughts are with his friends and family.

Clear Lines: Robin Thicke And Pharrell Have To Pay Up $7.3 Million In “Blurred Lines” Case

“Blurred Lines” Ruled A Copyright Infringement The ongoing saga of Robin Thick’s smash hit “Burred Lines” has finally come to a close, and the courts have ruled that he and Pharrell did indeed steal Marvin Gaye’s iconic “Got To Give It Up” to create the song of 2013. The hit stayed at #1 for 12 weeks…and notably drew the attention of Marvin Gaye’s family. As the song’s writer/singer Robin, and producer Pharrell , must now pay up $7.3 million to Marvin’s family to make up for the copyright infringement on Marvin Gaye’s 1977 hit. A rep for Pharrell spoke with TMZ an stated that they are reviewing the case and considering additional options, asserting that the song was “created from his heart, mind and soul and the song was not taken from anyone or anywhere else.” YouTube
