Punxsutawney Phil, the rodent, the myth, the Groundhog Day legend, is gearing up to make his annual prediction early Monday morning, LIVE from the Keystone State. What will he see at the break of dawn on February 2?! Will there be a shadow sighting, thus signaling six more weeks of winter? Or will he foresee an early spring, a respite from the snow and bitter cold? Only Punxsutawney Phil can say for sure. Groundhog Day, of course, is when the affable, rotund rodent that gives the fun “holiday” its name emerges from Gobbler’s Knob in Punxsutawney, Pa. He either sees his shadow or he doesn’t. A lot rides on this. If there’s a Phil shadow sighting at daybreak tomorrow, six more weeks of winter will follow. No shadow? Early spring baby! In the last 117 years, Punxsutawney Phil has predicted the coming of “early spring” a mere 16 times, not a big surprise since he lives in Western Pennsylvania. One of those times was 2013, when he projected an early spring, only to see record snowfall totals fall on much of the U.S. not even a week later. Punxsutawney Phil actually got sued by one Ohio county as a result of this call, although his handler took the blame and the case never made it to court. It’s a cautionary tale, however, and a reminder that even the best of us have an off year, no matter what we do. We are only human. Or groundhogs. As has been previously documented, Kim Kardashian is trying hard for a second child. In the meantime, however, she’s having a blast with her first. The reality star posted a pair of new North West pictures online yesterday, at first rolling around with her daughter in bed and giving followers a look at her “snuggle bear,” as so captioned by Kim. Kardashian also made us laugh ( with her, not at her for a change) via a super close-up of her and a seemingly irritated North, including with the following image a funny caption that reads: “I don’t know if she’s annoyed with my million daily kisses or my alien face.” It’s been a big week for the toddler. Just a few days ago, her famous father released his Only One music video , which featured North in all her adorable glory. We’re told Luda’s baby mama, Tamika Fuller, thinks Luda wants to show the judge in their custody fight that he now has a stable, loving household … more conducive to child-rearing than the home of single mom Tamika. She fears a Georgia judge could actually buy what Luda’s selling. As we reported … Luda abruptly proposed to GF Eudoxie during the XMAS holidays and married her the very same day. Tamika thinks it was all just a ploy. Luda is gunning to win full custody of their 1-year-old daughter Cai. He claims he’s a better parent and has the means to provide her with a better life. Tamika thinks it’s a crass ploy to avoid paying $7,000 a month in child support. The courtroom fireworks begin later this month. Kylie Jenner, 17, has become completely, utterly unrecognizable these days. Those lips, that hair, that body … mostly those lips. Good grief. Who would even know this was Kylie Jenner if you didn’t see such photos on her Instagram?
