It’s a new year and a new status for Michael Phelps: the most decorated Olympian in history is now single. According to TMZ, Phelps recently ended his relationship with Megan Rossee because he wanted to “pursue other options.” And how is the model taking this news? Not especially well. On Monday, Rossee Tweeted a photo of the following saying: “A woman’s loyalty is tested when her man has nothing. A man’s loyalty is tested when he has everything.” She then posted a photo of her New Year’s Eve celebration and included with it the caption: “The love of my life is the love between friends. Happy New Year! #truelove #bffs.” Phelps, meanwhile, seems to be taking everything in stride. It helps when you: Possesses an 8-pack. Have won 22 Olympic medals.
