Following a major brain hemorrhage on Thursday night, Bret Michaels remains in critical condition. As the rocker receives treatment at an undisclosed hospital, his rep has released a statement thanking fans for their “support, thoughts & concern.” But we aren’t the only ones offering thoughts and prayers to Michaels. Celebrity Apprentice boss Donald Trump said over the weekend: “He’s a great competitor and champion and I hope he will be fine.” A couple of ex-lovers of Bret’s have also chimed in. First, Jes Rickleff – who won the first season of VH1’s Rock of Love – told E! News : “My thoughts and prayers are with Bret and his family at this time and I pray for a quick and safe recovery.” Former fiancee Susie Hatton, meanwhile, has spoken to Bret’s father and says doctors are still running tests to determine what caused the hemorrhage. “He’s a fighter. He’s strong and for the most part, healthy,” Hatton said of the 47-year-old singer, who she dated from1988 to 1993. “I think they’re anticipating a full recovery.” Let’s hope so.
