It’s that time again. Shark Week 2013 is upon us. This is by all accounts an exciting event. Mostly. Between amusing fake documentaries on the Megalodon to legitimately fascinating looks inside the world of sharks and their environs, Discovery has made this a can’t-miss event. Still, there is such a thing is too much buzz. From singing sharks to yelling fans, some people get a little too hyped about Shark Week, no? The video below examines this very phenomenon. Terrence Howard’s ex-wife Michelle Ghent was granted a restraining order against the actor today, showing off a huge black eye in court, TMZ reports. The former Mrs. Howard claims he beat her during a fight last week. It’s unclear if Howard is responsible for the injury, but it was not discussed in court (you can see a photo clearly showing it after the jump of this article). It is likely Michelle will claim he is responsible, as she’s already said Terrence Howard physically abused her during an argument while they were on vacation. Howard tells a very different story, claiming Michelle Ghent maced him , his adult daughter and another family member, while he never laid a finger on her. The couple finalized their nasty divorce earlier this year but reunited for a Costa Rican vacation last week, and that’s where the incident went down. Howard has not arrested or charged, though police reports were filed at the time – and the temporary restraining order was just granted, in any case. Terrence is forbidden from coming within 100 yards of Michelle pending another hearing later this month. He is also barred from contacting her in any way. Michelle’s lawyer discussed the texts she allegedly sent to Terrence in May, threatening to kill him and his family, calling them “misleading and incomplete.” As for Terrence, he filed his own request for a restraining order, but was denied as the judge said the court would hear his side of things at the next hearing.
