A red flag has been thrown on the relationship between Irina Shayk and Cristiano Ronaldo. The 29-year old model and the 29-year old soccer stud (who just won the title of World Player of the Year) have ended their relationship after five years. It’s unclear why the twosome have split, but a rep for Shayk has issued a statement that serves to quell negative press against his client. Shayk “has been close with his family throughout the course of their relationship,” he says, adding that “any negative rumors with regards to Irina and the Ronaldo family are completely false and have not been a factor in the cause of the spilt.” We wish both Irina and Cristiano the best of luck going forward; and we also wish all the single men and women out there who now think that have a chance with Shayk and Ronaldo the best of luck.
