Pope Francis is here! Pope Francis is here! The man in charge of an entire religion arrived just outside of Washington D.C. around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, greeting The First Family at Joint Base Andrews. This marks his first-ever trip to the States as pontiff. His Holiness is expected to participate in a welcoming ceremony at the White House on Wednesday before addressing a joint session of Congress on Thursday. He’ll then head over to New York City. He will speak at the 9/11 Memorial there and give a mass at Madison Square Garden. But what do we really know about Pope Francis?
