Travis Porter’s Strap (real name Demetrius Duncan Jr.) made his first court appearance Thursday and was granted a $5,000 bond after being arrested Wednesday at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for having a loaded gun in his carry-on bag. Strap was charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location. Travis Porter was on their way to New York City when Strap was arrested. Rappers Ali and Quez made the trip, and Strap wasted no time in joining them in the Big Apple after his release from the Clayton County Jail. Strap (real name Harold Demetrius Duncan Jr.) of Travis Porter was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport today for having a loaded gun in his bag at a security checkpoint, reports the AJC. Strap, 21, was stopped at the checkpoint after a screener spotted a loaded .45-caliber Glock inside a carry-on bag. The TSA contacted airport police, who arrested Strap. The rapper was charged with carrying a weapon in an unauthorized location and booked into the Jail.Clayton County. He allegedly also had ammunition in the bag. Strap is expected to make his first court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Travis Porter, which includes rappers Ali and Quez, was scheduled to perform in New York City Wednesday night and at Yale University on Thursday, according to the group’s website .
