These emergency workers thought they were just coming to put out a fire…SMH Chicago Firefighters Find Badly Burned Body In Dumpster Firefighters who responded to reports of a blazing dumpster fire burning in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood made a gruesome discovery after putting out the flames. via Chicago Tribune Firefighters found a body burned beyond recognition after extinguishing a dumpster fire in the Northwest Side’s Logan Square neighborhood Sunday night, authorities said. The fire was reported about 11:05 p.m., Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. After putting out the blaze, which broke out in a dumpster in the 3100 block of North Kimball Avenue, authorities found a body but were unable to determine the victim’s age, sex or race. Those details remained unknown as of 5 a.m. this morning, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
