Via | HotNewHipHop Bryson Tiller has some new music dropping this week. Prior to the last few weeks, Bryson Tiller had been taking a break from the music scene to concentrate more on himself, after being in a “dark place” and dealing with depression following the release of his first two projects. “I was in a dark dark place after Trapsoul. It hindered me from everything you know, my creative process, everything,” he said. “It made me stop believing in myself. I just wanted to start over,” Bryson said while adding that his depression had a negative effect on his latest album True To Self as well. READ MORE
Macaulay Culkin may not be on drugs, but he is not doing so hot. A friend describes him as depressed, sad, lonely and attempting to recapture his childhood. Weeks after the National Enquirer called Macaulay Culkin a heroin addict and said he was at death’s door, reports say the Home Alone star is very depressed. An insider close to Culkin says he is not doing well and has been attempting to relive his childhood and has been engaging in increasingly strange behavior. That includes hosting costume parties where guests are invited to come dressed as a movie character or dinosaur. “He likes to live as a child ,” says the source. “Growing up has not been good to Macaulay.” A former colleague says Culkin is a “sad and lonely figure,” and attributes his depression to his inability to land roles in recent years; he last acted in 2010. The actor denies he’s on drugs , but the Enquirer stood by its initial shocking story and encouraged the 32-year-old actor to seek help for his problems. In February, his reps also denied allegations that the actor was gravely ill after gaunt photos of Culkin emerged. He looks healthier in recent months, though. In fact, Culkin has been working on several paintings which he’ll be exhibiting this week, and has been using his New York apartment as a studio. So that’s good. Here’s hoping these are just rumors and that Mac is back and better than ever. [Photo: WENN.com]
Looks like someone’s got Mo and Kita of “The T.O. Show” panties in a bunch, and that person is “Basketball Wives” very own boricua Evelyn Lozada. The two P.R. queens behind Terrell Owens success caught up with Hip Hollywood on the red carpet and voiced their (mostly Mo’s) distaste with Evelyn in a very straight forward manner. Mo referred to Evelyn as “a walking yeast infection” as well as criticized her motherhood for sleeping with Chad Ochocinco so soon. Mo also came for Chad adding: “I know Chad. I’ve associated with Chad. I’ve worked with Chad, but at the same time he’s sending the wrong message to women, to guys, thinking it’s ‘okay’ to wife somebody that you’ve portrayed the image of sleeping with all in the same night.” Mo also added, “Tami should’ve beat Evelyn’s A*s,” for having ANY sort of relationship with her ex-husband, whether they were married, separated or divorced. While I agree to the fullest, I also feel that Mo’s tone sounds a tad bit personal, which leads me to believe either Mo don’t play NO games when it comes to her judgement of character or Evelyn has stepped on her toes in some kind of way. For that very reason this story reminds me of Dave Chappelle’s skit on “The Chappelle Show” “When keeping it real goes wrong” because although what Mo says may be true, Evelyn don’t play that! Peep the video below to hear what Mo had to say: I can just see Evelyn looking for a drink to throw right now! “The T.O. Show” Returns For Season 3 Sneak Preview: “The T.O. I think we all enjoy watching our favorite movies from the 80′s. Something about those movies make you reflect on past moments in your life, moments that will probably stick with you for the rest of your life. I recently came across a blog titled, How Ferris Bueller Saved Me From Depression . Twenty five years later, this guy still enjoys watching Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and continues to reflect on how it helped him get over his depression during his parents divorce. One thing I noticed about the movies from the 80′s, are that most of them were about real life situations. Although a movie like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is something that would only happen in your dreams. It still told a story that people in real life can relate to. Check out the blog post and see how Ferris Bueller’s Day Off helped this guy get out of his deep funk. Related Post: Top 10 Movies That Will Get You High Should A White Person Star In “Akira”?
