A magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck Saturday off the coast of southwest Japan, triggering a small tsunami. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries. The earthquake struck at 5:51 a.m. (20:51 GMT) at a depth of 10 kilometers (6 miles) about 190 kilometers southwest of Kagoshima city, the Japan Meteorological Agency said.
