It’s safe to say Beyonce’s risk has paid off. And then some. The artist released a self-titled album exclusively on iTunes Friday morning, coming out with 14 fresh tracks despite nary a word of promotion. So, how is the collection doing? Beyonce – “Drunk in Love” (Music Video) At last check, “BEYONCE” has moved 828,772 copies, easily becoming the fastest-selling album in iTunes history and putting the singer on pace for the highest tally for a female solo artist since Taylor Swift sold 1.2 million copies of “Red” in November 2012. It is also number-one in 104 countries and has already topped Beyonce’s personal best: 2006’s “B’day” sold 541,000 copies in its first week Beyonce had some help with the album, of course.
