Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy: On the Rocks Over Ill-Advised Tweet?

Caroline Wozniacki and Rory McIlroy are rumored to be on the rocks, and although she denies this, the report stemmed from a hilarious incident. The Danish tennis star tweeted an embarrassing photo of her open-mouthed sleeping sweetheart, the Northern Irish golf champion, last month. It led to reports that the famous pair have split . That doesn’t appear to be the case, but you can see why Rory might not have been too thrilled: Wozniacki addressed the “controversy” this week, saying, “I’m so tired of the rumors. They occur every time Rory and I are apart a few days or do not write on Twitter.” “There is nothing in it, and from now on I think I will keep my private life private. It is so annoying that the media and the so-called sources constantly spread rumors.” “They write just what they want.” Whether there’s “nothing in it” or not, Caroline brought it upon herself by Tweeting the photo to her half-million-plus Twitter followers in September. Some say it’s a cautionary tale in using social media when in a relationship, something that oversharing folks like Miley Cyrus or Rihanna should ponder.

Shop Your Indie Heart Out: Record Store Day is This Saturday

Stop your bitching about how there are no good albums and nowhere with a conscience to buy them. April 17 — this Saturday — is Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent music stores. As an independent media company, we're all about supporting our like-minded independent establishments. Not only did we sign the praises of what's probably the coolest the holiday around last year, but we were there when Embedded artists Silversun Pickups even played music from their album swoon at Rasputin Music in San Francisco. Many of the Embedded Tour Stops also featured artists and bands stopping into their favorite indie spots as well: K'naan visits FatBeats LA Black Lips invade Fingerprints for an in-store performance Fucked Up raid Amoeba Music Each year, the organizers of Record Store Day create even more awesome videos, activities, and free events for people that love music. This year, Decibel Magazine and RED teamed up to create a mini magazine that features a free, 22-track metal sampler. REM, Them Crooked Vultures, and Embedded Tour Stop artists Passion Pit have all have limited edition box sets and EPs for sale at various shops. For gear heads, Zoom and Samson have teamed up to create a prize pack full of recording equipment while Sony and Touchtunes are holding a sweepstakes to give away CDs, LPs, and a Sony USB turntable. Some stores are even giving away free t-shirts to celebrate the 17th. And there wouldn't be record stores full of music to buy without artists supplying albums, so plenty of great bands have gotten involved. Check out Northern Irish band Two Door Cinema Club talking about the very first and most recent records they've purchased: Gogol Bordello put together a short but lively song promoting Record Store Day: Salvador Santana, son of the famous guitar genius Carlos Santana, talks about his earliest experiences wandering record stores and bonding with his father through them: Head over to RSD TV for droves of exclusive Record Store day clips and extras. Once you've run that well dry, do yourself a favor and look up where you can find Record Store Day festivities near you. If you're in Hollywood, you might even be able to catch a Smashing Pumpkins' special performance at Amoeba Music. added by: cberlin1
