Hours after she was charged with multiple felonies , Amber Portwood turned herself in to authorities late yesterday afternoon. The troubled Teen Mom was placed in an Indiana jail, per the law, said an officer at the Madison County jail: “Domestic battery has an automatic hold. Even if someone pays your bond, you still have to wait 24 hours to be released.” Amber Portwood Slaps Gary Shirley The 20-year-old MTV star allegedly attacked Gary Shirley on three separate occasions over the last 12 months. He’s the father of her two-year-old daughter, Leah. Amber is expected to be released from prison at 4:15 EST. She faces two felony counts of domestic battery, one felony count of neglect of a dependent and one misdemeanor count of domestic battery.
